Grimm's Little Wooden Mushrooms to Sort, Build & Stack (Pastel Colors)

This adorable early building and sorting set for preschoolers (age 3+) is handcrafted in Germany from sustainably harvested solid le. It's an open-ended toy with many ways to play creatively. Includes 12 parts that combine to form 6 mushrooms: Each mushroom top is in search of its matching bottom part! The youngest kids can play a color sorting game by finding the green cap that matches the green stem, and so on. Also combine with other colorful building and Grimm's small-parts sorting components to create their own unique figures or build towers by stacking parts with Bobbins, Buttons or blocks from Grimm’s. Use in pretend play scenarios as field of wild mushrooms, use as math counters or to decorate a seasonal table.

Colored with certified non-toxic/child-safe water based stains that create a matte finish that allows the natural grain of the wood beneath to show through, and provide a slip-resistant surface. Assembled, each mushroom measures 2.3 inches tall, 1.4 inches wide. Mushrooms are available in Pastel or Bright Rainbow colors.
