Violet Luster Dust 2 Grams Cake Decorating Dust DP-25

I don’t know what I was expecting, but it is super super tiny. Otherwise it’s just fine.

Love it! I wasn't sure this would do what I needed it to, but it very much lived up to my expectations and provided a great effect to my Renaissance clan's drinks (in three colors: gold, red, purple) that impressed the whole crowd! I used almost the entire canister for my group's drinks to maximize the effect, although I wouldn't have needed to use as much as I did to get the desired effect. I originally thought this was a bit pricey for the amount received, but it ended up being worth it! ***Please note: the colors in my videos are not entirely due to the luster, my drinks were created to be these colors prior to adding the luster.

The color was pretty

The media could not be loaded.  I use about 1/4 teaspoon of the luster dust to mix in with vodka and syrup. (You do not need more than that.) The 2 grams goes a long way and should last me a while. Attached video shows the violet luster dust when freshly mixed.

The violet luster dust worked very well on the fondant. I used ever clear and brushed the fondant with two coats of the luster dust allowing drying time between each coat. I was amazed with the ease of use and the results.

I’m purchased this Violet luster dust thinking it was edible, but it states, “for decorative use only,” on the label. Now, I’m afraid to use it because I believe it to be an edible dust look-a-like. Misleading to say the least and possibly detrimental if ingested.

So cute! Used them for cut out cookies!

I bought this to add to vodka to make my own "Vinique". Worked great, made the vodka shimmery for a much lower price.
