Attractive workspace mats for preschoolers

These mats were purchased for preschoolers when they work with their Montessori-inspired STEM toys. It is just the right size for toys that have multiple pieces. Containing the pieces on the mat makes it easier to choose the right pieces for a particular task, helps prevent loss of pieces, and encourages independent clean up. The mats are attractive and store easily in a large basket.

My preschooler and toddler never use these.

I bought 2. They were much too small for my 2 & 4 year olds to feel like they had their own separate work spaces.
