Mode EQ

Ordered these as a quick replacement for some Grain Audio earbuds I had accidentally broken. First off, I listen to music and audiobooks for 8 hours per day at work, so I definitely value longevity and sound quality. That said, I appreciate the spring-coiled L-curve jack plug that these buds have. Generally when my headphones die, it's either internal wiring in a bud or at the connection that breaks, so something unique that helps take away one of those problems is appreciated. Design-wise, I like the general ergonomics of the buds themselves - and right out of the package, they fitted snug and were not uncomfortable. Cord length (honestly, I don't have a tape measure to give an exact length.... 4ft?) was adequate, and the material of the cord seems durable and is somewhat firm/stiff compared to the average non-studio set of headphones (which is nice aesthetically, since when not stretched out, the cord doesn't tend to coil on itself annoyingly, even if twisted up a bit). A stethoscope effect is there, but is about the average you'd expect for in-ear buds. The controller/shirt clip is well placed and sturdySo overall, I appreciate the quality for the price. The sound quality has really grown on me. I listen to heavier stuff, so unless I'm listening to an audiobook - the bass boost is generally always on. After breaking these in for a couple of weeks, I had the urge to just turn my music player up to 11 and headbang to some sludgy metal to see what these Marshalls could do. I was not disappointed. Listening to some old Isis, Meshuggah, Nile, etc... with the Poweramp app on my android's EQ turned to rock and the earbuds' bass-boost on, the Marshalls were quite impressively rattling my ears off. Given a good EQ setting on whatever device you're listening on, the bass on these bad boys soar. I was hearing certain notes and bass undertones I didn't know some songs had - all while keeping the mid/high ranges generally true. Even with as heavy of a bass as I like, there wasn't any distortion or drowning out of other frequencies. Overall, I feel like I'm getting as good of a Marshall amp experience as I can get in a pair of in-ear headphones - which is all I can ask for. Probably best pound-for-pound in-ear phones I've ever owned. Would buy again.

These headphones give a good and clear sound. I especially like the fact that the middle is also good and remains clean even with complex compositions. In many headphones, low and high frequencies are turned up, and the middle remains deaf and quiet. Here, too, are well low and high frequencies, but there is no dip in the mids. However, I do not recommend using the bass boost switch, the sound becomes worse. There are also other advantages of these headphones: good passive noise isolation, the wires do not tangle, the wires are thick and durable, and the L-Plug. These headphones are the second best among all the headphones that I have had. I list them by rating: 1. Bowers & Wilkins PI3 - the best sounding. It is clean and warm. The sound is as clear as the Marshall Mode EQ, but even warmer. Unfortunately, these earbuds no longer work. 2. Marshall Mode EQ - good clear sound, but lacks the warmth of Bowers & Wilkins PI3. At the moment, these are my best headphones for listening to music. I listen to music on these headphones. 3. Samsung EO-IA500 (wife's headphones) is also a good clear sound, close to Marshall Mode EQ, but when compared with Marshall Mode EQ, it feels like the middle is not clean enough, especially in complex compositions where there are a lot of instruments. 4. OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 - I used them for online meetings. These headphones stopped working. 5. Several other headphones that don't even compare to these. I listen to music on Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro using the Spotify service, where the highest (Very high) sound quality is selected in the options both in WiFi and cellular streaming. If someone wants to use these headphones for online meetings, I can advise. I sometimes used, although usually for online meetings I use Soundcore Anker Life U2 or Bose QuietComfort 25. Here the microphone works well, and no problems arise.

I bought a couple different kinds to compare. I like the stout cords on these. They should last a while and they sound good. They’re a little bit bigger in the ear than Klipsch and have a bit more volume. Klipsch are more nuanced and detailed. Thes have strong all around soud. More pop or rock to Klipsch’s jazz or symphonic.

The BEST earbuds I've ever found. As a guitarist that keeps reverting to Marshall amps, I took a chance 2 yrs ago. That each pr. lasted, or rather, survived ~8 months each is remarkable. Through Ocean, jungle, desert & dust, running a he forward recon jobs cops can't, there were times when my life depended on them. I take care of my tools, but earbuds hunting bad-meth-people & you name the wanted criminal kine', out here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, (sometimes IN IT), tend to fail inside a couple months if I'm lucky, & the fit is typically horrid. I didn't mind replacing the others. THESE Marshall Mode EQ cans are the S#!t! I got ~8-10 months out of each pair. THAT, in my world, albeit forcibly 'retired', is comparable only to the tactical rope I favor. Three things mean a lot to me w/these; 1) Survivability; the reinforced brass spring junction points are invaluable. 2) These are the only earbuds I've ever seen, whose control module clips securely, or is even present. MUCH reduced ear hanging stressor factor & buds falling out at the worst times. 3) They're surprisingly H20 resistant & survived numerous ops into the ocean, or tropical storms so fierce, the rain is traveling horizontally. I swear it on my fierce Grandma's grave. They sound GREAT. I've caught a few LEOs trying to sneak off w/them. Interestingly, just like Marshall amps & speakers, they need a 2-3 week break-in period, before they sound 'Goldilocks'. They're VERY sensitive w/out being skritchy when using my audio/vid surveillance gear. Very detailed audio relay, I could finally hear the conversations & not just the footfalls from ~100 yards out! They're far from shrill to begin with, something I dread, the 'icepick' in the ear discomfort. I really should get a few spare pairs before some bean counter decides the product sells too well, & cancels them out forever. Marshall amps are kind of like that, too. Plenty of spare buds for anyone's ears, & they're easy to clean w/just a moist corner of a paper towel; the driver's are protected by their own tight (brass?) mesh-screens. Telephone troubles are ALWAYS the other end's problem!

I bought these because I got tired of bluetooth not connecting and making a mess of my video-meetings. the sound is ok. the functionality has been what I was looking for. nothing super fancy but also not cheap. my only gripe is the gizmo controller made of cheap plastic and keeps falling off, and then made a final escape from the earbuds, breaking and falling apart. I expected just a tad more...that it doesnt fall apart after one month of use. just a little hope and expectation. not much. not peace on earth. not end of global warming. just that when you pay this much...that the people making it on the other end...make sure they dont sell you junk. I am referring to Marshall and its employees. whats the point of having good sound and great engineers, when the piece falls apart. just saying. good execution Marshall. is that too much to ask...expect...maybe this is what it has come down to.... my apple products dont do this. My Bose product doesnt do this (I have one of their earbuds for 15 years)...Marshall, sadly this was my only and last dance with you. Let's see if you honor your Warranty.....but not holding my breath...just saying.....

I bought my first pair a few years ago so I had a pair of earbuds that wasn't limited by battery so I could use them during COVID-era communications. The sound is very clear and the mic is at a perfect height. I'm told the mic offers a great listening experience for those on the other end of a call. I always have trouble keeping earbuds to stay in my ear but these work great and stick wonderfully right out of the box. Very comfortable for hours especially on long road trips. My wife borrowed them once and agreed with everything I've said thus far so much so she has annexed them. Bottom line: buying my 2nd pair because they are great at what they do. If you're looking for the best music-listening experience these will leave you wanting for more as the bass feels weak.

I was looking for an economic option to some Bose earbuds that broke on me. For the money I was willing to pay, I wasn’t expecting to match the sound of the Bose but these Marshall earbuds touted themselves as having an EQ boost that would provide some bass. After listening to them I double checked the packing to make sure I got the Mode EQ version, which I had. I couldn’t tell the difference between the eq boost options. Both were very non-base-y. For the money, they didn’t really sound much better than a pair of $20 earbuds I have as emergency backups. Considering they were on sale, I am glad I didn’t pay the full amount. I’m not saying they are horrible, but the price point here is not justified at all. You’re just as well off with the $20 earbuds all over Amazon. I’m sending these back.

I’ve had the Marshall Mode EQ headphones for a few weeks now and am really happy with them. I use high-end over-ear headphones when I’m in an audiophile mood, but I was looking for some good quality, affordable wired earbuds to use at other times. After some online research, I narrowed my search to these, the Beyerdynamic Soul Byrd, and the 1More Triple Drivers. I listened to several songs in all three headphones (electronic, classical, indie rock), and the Marshalls had the most consistently solid audio performance. The sound is well balanced and articulate. The Soul Byrds felt like they were lacking in depth, especially the midrange, although they were the most comfortable of the three I tried. The 1More came in a close second to the Marshalls - great sound and excellent build quality, however I just preferred the sound signature of the Marshalls and how consistently good they sounded across all the musical genres I tested them on. Other strengths of the Marshalls are the comfort, fit, and aesthetics. Price wasn’t a huge factor for me, but I did find it interesting that the Marshalls are the most inexpensive of the ones I tested, which is nice. I have not tried the standard Mode version (without the EQ feature), so can’t make a comparison. I went with the EQs mainly because of some reviews I read on audiophile sites, and I figured having two options was better than one. Overall, I highly recommend these earbuds!

I've owned multiple pairs of these headphones. Wired headphones for a good price. Recommended

Fantastic product, looks sleek and sexy with possibly the best sound I've had from in-ear headphones. Comes with a Mic and single button to take calls/change song/ pause or play music and an EQ switch that changes the sound from high quality highs and mids to a deeper bassier sound which works great with rock (makes sense as Marshall are known for their guitar amps). Only criticisms are that a pair of volume buttons wouldn't have gone amiss and although they come standard with small earbuds with the option to interchange with medium, large or XL, the other earbuds are quite difficult to fit on once taken off. I had to resort to flexing some tweezers inside them in order to squeeze them apart enough to fit on, although I don't think these slight nuisances was enough to knock my review down from its 5-star given the quality of the items and how excited I get when I get to walk somewhere with these bad boys in! All-in-all I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for some stylish in ear headphones with microphone and in-line controls.

As a music or sound enthusiast, I always went after good headsets/headphones. And I was almost satisfied when I bought a Sennheiser headset, and I was happy. But then I saw Marshall's advertisement and it's overhyped reviews here. And decided to go for it, and it was best pick so far from amazon or any other online shopping platforms. Many people doubted my decision of buying a wired headset instead of a wireless one, but I proved them that Marshall was worth buying. The Marshall music experience is amazing. Voice clarity, voice detailing, the bass-treble balance, everything is just beautiful. Bass level was my prior concern, and this one delivers it smoothly than any of the previous headsets I've ever used. I mean, I was hearing my favourite playlists for years, but now, the experience is all different right now. Suddenly I found that, there were many instruments/sounds used in those songs, which were unnoticed all these years. I'm more than satisfied about Marshall Mode EQ's performance so far. It's definitely a 5 star deserving headset. Highly recommended.☺️❤️
