Tense Mens Dark Sandalwood Jumbo Oblong Natural Wood Watch J8102D

This has been my daily wearer for the past 6 months or so. I was previously wearing a Nixon with a fiber band, that would get stinky from sweat / bacteria after a week of wear. The Tense doesn't have any odor issue whatsoever. Furthermore, you hardly notice the fact you're wearing a watch because it is so light, compared to a similar style watch made out of metal.I've gotten numerous complements on this watch, one from the big boss man which was great. People are usually very incredulous, and will ask "Is it really made out of wood?"About the only issue I have is setting the date. If I change the date and it is before noon, it seems to change to the next day after noon rolls around. Annoying, but I'm sure there's a way around this; time to RTFM...

The face chipped 2 days after I got it. I don't know if it is weak glass, but I was bummed.

Yes, I had to buy this watch because I couldn't make up my mind between this wooden watch and the Tense Dark & Light Multicolored Mens Wood Sports Watch G4100DS ANDF. I'm so glad I did go ahead and purchased bot,h because my husband not only has the same problem when selecting which one to wear; he still can't believe the watch is made of wood and is so well-made. The sandlewood is light and completely functional. The color was gorgeous and its only improved with age. Very impressed with this watch!

I was a bot skeptical of the watch because of the dark color. I figured it had to be stained. But I read all the positive reviews so I took a chance. My husband really likes it and it is lightweight. It was easy to get the links taken out too. I am a bit nervous about the watch face but the band is great.
