how long do battery last?

I have never run it right down. My longest job was working in a cupboard for about 3 hours and the light was still unchanged.

Is there a magnetic attachment?

as there was no magnetic attachment i got some stick on small magnets i stuck them down with some extra super glue works well

Why did Mr Wasif Husain review loads of products on 3/4/2015, loads more on 4/4/2015 and then nothing for 3 1/2 years?

he probably put in 5 star reviews in return for free gifts and special offers. I bought this product, and there was an offer to join a 'club' where I could forward my review to the seller in return for such offers, as stated in my 2 star review.

If i run this on standard AA batteries will it be as bright as using supplied rechargeables

The floodlight comes equipped with two 3.7V rechargeable batteries (BRC 18650) but can run on four 1.5V batteries (AA). I tried the 4xAA (just for you!) and it worked OK but I can't say how long it would stay bright. The supplied batteries are really heavy duty and last a long time. I can only imagine that you'd want to use the AA batteries if you are not near a recharging source.
