Ambulatory Care Procedures for the Nurse Practitioner

The book came in sooner than anticipated. It was wrapped correctly and was in excellent condition. I am pleased to have found this textbook from this shop. I highly recommend the Collectible Collectibles 4 U shop. I buy quite a few books for personal use and graduate school and I will be looking through their shop for future purchases.

I found this book to be extremely valuable as a reference and as a guide. However, one must be current on allowable procedures for NP's with their individual state's practice laws, for some procedures within this book are not allowed in every state.Another useful feature is that each procedure has the recommended CPT codes at the beginning. There are good illustrations along with different approaches to procedures mentioned as well.This book will remain in my office as an NP for sure.

Many procedures are covered in this book. I'm sure this will be a well used book during my FNP clinical rotations and my first years as an FNP. It's clearly written, well indexed and has great pictures.

I love this book and I keep it handy at my desk to review for procedures. I specifically like the section on suturing and it gives a nice chart of how long sutures should be left in according where they are placed.

I love this book! It is clear and concise, a must have for the NP who will be performing office procedures. It is a great learning tool, or great to use as a refresher. I would highly recommend!

I like the ICD 9 and CPT codes at the start of each procedure, i have used it several times
