My child sleeps very deeply and is very difficult to awaken. How strong is this alarm? It is designed for these cases?

My son was 7 yrs old and was such a sound sleeper he had never had a dry night. The first week of using the alarm he was awaken by the sound/vibration but had already had an accident. By week 2 he was not waking during the night to go, but was staying dry. It's been 4 months and no accidents! I was amazed how well this product helped my son- we had tried EVERYTHING! I recommended this product to a friend and she had same results. Good luck

will it work on a pull up or does it have to be underwear only?

It needs to be underwear because it clips on the outside. It works by sensing moisture and it wouldn't be able to do that through a pull-up.

What do you do with the extra foot and a half length of cord? Im concerned about it getting wrapped around her neck as it is as tall as her. Is there

We didn’t have so much slack, maybe 6 inches. We threaded the cord from her arm into and under her pajama top and hooked onto her underwear.

My wife is diabled. she wears a poise pad inside a depends night-defense. i want to use this alarm to know when she is wet. what to i clip this to?

You clip one side to a tshirt. And the sensor has to be right where she would be wet, so for my son it's clipped basically right in front of his.... ya know so as soon as he's wet it would go off.

Breakthrough!

After years of night nappies as well as lack of success with medication, we purchased this on recommendation from an NHS appointment. To say we’re amazed is an understatement. Having read reviews and the alarm instructions I was expecting this to take a few months, if it worked at all. Within 3 weeks my daughter was totally dry at night, including two weeks back to back nights dry. She is totally delighted as well. Some notes: -We used it on the vibrate setting as the alarm tones were very loud and shrill and we thought it would be a bit traumatising in the middle of the night! -We also had her in pull ups with pants underneath to attach the alarm to, to avoid wet bedding at the beginning. This worked fine and once she was dry for a few nights in a row we stopped the pull ups with no problem at all.
