I used this book to study for my LPN boards, after reading the reviews I decided to buy it. I was nervous at first because I didn't want to spend $50, but I am SO GLAD I did. I used the code for my evolve and I was able to answer NCLEX styled questions- THOUSANDS of them!! HIGHLY recommend this book!

Used this book exclusively for reviewing before taking the Nclex. Passed the first time in June 2018. I did take all of the questions that were offered on the internet, and used only one other app for questions. This book explains everything very clearly and the separation between the sections with questions is great!

The book was hard to follow so I used the code to access the online portion and it was so helpful! I feel it helped me prepare...and I passed my boards on the first try.

Great review. Arrived new with online codes. I mostly used the online portion and did a bunch of quizes. They have a bank with about 4000 questions online. I passed the NCLEX PN using this and Uworld question banks. This book is very organized and has quizzes at the end of each chapter. This is more than enough information to study.

Excellent, highly recommend: use scratch off code inside front cover for online access to test questions on top of what’s already in the book. Great outlines of each disease including interventions. Highly recommend for any NCLEXPN exam

Use it like a companion to your text book.The word "comprehensive" throws you off a bit. NCLX exams covers a lot of topics, so a really "comprehensive" review would have everything, and personally should stand on its own but it is not an everything product that can do that. For example: communication is a chapter in nursing text books. Even though communication is covered in every chapter anyway in any nursing book, including this one, there is no definite chapter covering the topic in this book which I feel is a mistake.Also It is structured using bullet points and is most effective when used with a text book. The questions and answers are what you are really paying for and it reflects perfectly with the price because the content is not vague, the covers a lot, but it doesn't have everything either.

I ordered this Saunders Comprehensive Review for my wife when she was preparing for her NCLEX- PN Board examination. She says she likes that the book has very detailed and current content with thousands of quality review questions and great analysis of the rationale for each question.She says her favorite part of the book is the “ Integrated Processes” which identified and addressed the five processes; caring, communication and documentation, culture and spirituality, nursing process, teaching and learning in the test plan, and structured very well throughout the book.My wife says that this review book is a must read for any practical nursing student preparing and getting ready for the PN board examination.She says she likes how the authors approached chapter 3, from a graduate’s perspective and that the chapter really helped her to imagine herself going through the same experience and it did made her to be more focused in her preparing and acing the board exam. She says that she reviewed chapter 5 as if she were a patient as most of the issues related to cultural awareness and competence “opened her eyes” to how best interact and care for people of various ethnic and racial groups. My wife says this book did a good job of laying out the all - important critical thinking and test-taking skills, and the critical thinking part “what should you do?” She says the book provided a great template to follow with succinct clarity and in a step by step breakdown of what she really needed to know without over burdening her with fluff.She says she was able to study this book and test her knowledge and identify knowledge gaps that require additional study. I would definitely recommend it.

I passed my cpnre exam by studying this for 4 weeks, This was my main source especially the online qs👍👍

I used this book to help me study for my Nursing exams and I passed! I found that the textbook itself had alot of information to help me understand in an easy compact way. I would recommend getting the textbook with the online evolve code as it has many test questions to go through with answers compared to the textbook where it only has about 10 questions and answers per chapter.

It was ok, didn’t love the layout and found it had a lot of info that isn’t super important in studying for the exam. I am in Canada so keep that in mind, might still be great for US LPN students.

Used this to study for my CRPNE along with the online Sample tests from Clpmn Website and that’s it for studying. I felt confident going into my exam and passed on my first attempt:)

Book is not helpful for school use. Just had questions, it did not contain much teaching/summary. Not returning this because I have opened the plastic wrap. Perhaps this book will be useful for prep for the licensing exam, just not for school even though it said use during school
