Great product !
This wheel chair was perfect for getting my husband to doctors appointments. It is lightweight, easily folds to fit in the trunk of the car, and narrow enough to get through smaller doorways. It was very easy to put together, which surprised me as I am not mechanically inclined. I would recommend this product.

Good transport wheelchair, easy to move
Sturdy enough for light use, for example through an airport. Wheels roll easily, it is light enough to carry and folds well. It seems to be well enough made. I wouldn't recommend it for uneven surfaces like city sidewalks, the front wheels are too small for that but it's a transport wheelchair, and for that it is good.

Collapsible wheelchair
This is a great, lightweight, portable chair. Easy to put together and collapse down. I wish I had noticed there were no hand brakes. I thought that was a bit odd bc it's a caregiver style chair.

Light and easy to use - very smooth ride
I took my son on my trip to Washington DC. We used this inside museums as well as outside on gravel and dirt trails that were mostly flat. It is a very smooth ride. And was very easy to load when getting it in and out of under the tour bus. I would love to have a separate bag for the removable foot rest but I just used a backpack for those. I bought an adjustable cupholder to put on the front but you will have to remove that each time you fold the chair for storage. I also hung a backpack from the handles on the back very easily. Would be nice if there was actually a big pocket sewn in the back of the seat for storage. I bought a strip of a two-way Velcro and used it on the little cloth handles that come together when the chair is folded to keep it together and take the stress off my hands if I had to carry it around. The foot rests are extremely easily to place and remove. Although I read reviews about weak wheelbearings and angles we had no problems with that whatsoever and this was quite a test using a fifth-grade boy of approximately 90 pounds. Those locking brakes are a must. Was most easily used indoors but we made it outdoors as well however in shallow and especially deep gravel it is very difficult and would need some type of outdoor tires to really make it ideal for outdoor use if you are not on a paved sidewalk or a road. Update 2025. Still using the same chair. It works wonderfully however the screws that hold in the handles where you set the brakes have been falling out so I need to go to the hardware store and replace the ones that I have lost. Although the screws have come out, the handles are not coming off, they are just loose so it still works and the brakes still work. Overall, this has been a superb purchase for us.

Light Weight and Compact
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be starting my chemotherapy soon. I started thinking about the fatigue and weakness I'm likely to experience as I go through this process. I know I'm going to be spending a lot more time at home, but I'm not willing to stop living my life either. So we thought maybe a wheelchair will help. So I got on Amazon and started looking. I noticed most wheelchairs are rather large even when collapsed. That wouldn't be an issue if our vehicle was big, but we drive a Kia Sportage. So I started looking for a compact wheelchair and found these transport chairs, game changer. We decided on this one. The reviews were decent, and because of the features. It's light weight, it has the large rear wheels, which are super important, and the hand breaks, if your transporting someone down a ramp your going to want them. Our order arrived the next day and was well packaged. It was super easy assemble. It only takes one person. I'm 5'6" and weigh 198. A lot of the chairs I looked at have a weight limit of 220. While I hope I don't gain weight, I know sometimes steroids are used and they can cause weight gain, so the fact that this one has a max weight limit of 300 made me feel better. I could see that if a person was must larger than myself they might want one designed for larger sizes. I fit well in this one with enough room let over that I'm comfortable with it. For our purposes of taking me to appointments and shopping when I need it, it will work perfectly. It feels plenty sturdy and our test drives have gone very well. The only thing we are going to add is the storage bag that hangs in the back, also for sale on Amazon for $20. If you are looking for a transport chair instead of a larger wheelchair and the person will be sitting in it for hours on end you might want to add a seat cushion. For our purposes it is more than comfortable.

It's a life saver
I had bought one of these chairs at a rummage sale a few years ago. My 96- and 94-year-old parents were living with me and I could see the writing on the wall concerning their mobility though neither of them wanted the chair for their self. For $25. I had nothing to lose if neither never used it. That chair was the best investment that I have ever made and it added quality to their lives. Fortunately, they didn't need it at the same time. We found ourselves saying it was the best $25. that we ever spent. Because of that chair when my uncle woke up one day not being able to walk and could only crawl we bought the Medline Lightweight Foldable Transport Wheelchair and had it sent to him. His wife had borrowed a heavy loaner wheelchair so she could take my uncle to his many doctor appointments. Loading that heavy wheelchair in and out of her car was killing her back. She cried of joy when she received the transport chair. It made their life so much better. My sister, severely hurt her knee. She and her family had plans and reservations to visit Washington D.C. with her on crutches. I had this transport chair sent to her house in S.C. in time for their trip. She wouldn't have made it 1/2 day on her crutches. The transport chair saved their vacation. It was easy to put in their trunk, then to take it on the train and then touring D.C. My brother-in-law said one day he pushed her around for 11 miles in the chair. I can't say enough about that transport chair. It's comfort, stability, its light weight, its just a life saver for the one who is pushing it and adds quality to the users life.

Most Reliable Lightweight Chair I Ever Bought!!!! Still Funtions As New Since 2018!!!
When it comes to being a Care Giver, anything that will make my life easier in regards to providing the proper care for my mom is certainly welcomed! With that said, this is my unpaid experience with this awesome little chair! I purchased it in 2018 and after 7 years of continual use... it is still fabulous! This chair has had its fair share of trips to and from various Doctor's offices, Stores, Shopping Outings, Restaurants, etc. From day one I have been very pleased with this chair's build quality, functionality and its light weight. My mom is 88 years old and she weighs about 169 pounds. I have had no problems getting her in and out of this chair, even with her Dementia. I can't say enough about how convenient it is for me in regards to this chair being able to fold up in seconds and easily be put in the back of my SUV. This chair still functions as new and I have never had any issues whatsoever with it! I highly recommend this chair to anyone who is looking for an affordable chair that has stood the test of time and to me worth every penny that I paid for it! Some I see have said it feels cheap... I have never thought that about this chair in any way... it just feels light and to me that is great!!!!!. I hope this true testimony and truthful review will help someone in their purchasing decision.. Have A Blessed Day!

Great Caregiver Tool: Compact, Easy to Fold & Load in Vehicle, Fits Through 30" Doorway
If you're living in an older home with narrow 29" to 30" wide doorways, or transporting someone with mobility issues, you need this transport wheelchair. It will make life so much easier! I purchased this foldable transport wheelchair after being assisted by a stranger in a parking lot as I struggled to lift and store a larger, older wheelchair I'd borrowed from a friend to transport my husband. The stranger suggested this product as something I might find helpful as he had purchased it for his mother. Thanking him and taking his advice, I went to Amazon and read the reviews for this product. I ordered it on sale and it arrived the next day. NOTE: What makes a transport wheelchair different than a regular one? It doesn't have large wheels on the outside that the person in the wheelchair can use to propel themselves. What I like about this transport wheelchair: 1. It's only 25 pounds which means I can lift it into the back of my car with ease. 2. It has handles for lifting on the sides of the seat. Woven, attached to the inside edges of the seat. 3. Its handles easily fold down to make the folded chair about 30" square which fits into a car or small SUV with ease. 4. The brakes are easy to set and release. 5. The build quality is excellent. Aluminum frame with welded joints. 6. It's narrow enough to fit through the 30" doorways of my home built in 1975. A HUGE plus! 7. Foot rests can easily be removed or turned back to allow for the person on the chair to put their feet on the ground, as when loading in and out of a vehicle. 8. Bigger wheels in the back with foot rests to lift the front of the chair over curbs, are very helpful. 9. Grips are comfortable for the person pushing the chair and provide a secure hand hold. 10. Arm rests are padded with memory foam, making them comfortable to push off of when standing. 11. Woven nylon for the seat, back rest, and handles is thick and looks durable. 12. Adjustable foot rest lengths, and easy to put on and off the chair, or turn back towards the back wheels. Things that could make it better (nit picking here...): 1. The seat is woven nylon and while it appears thick and durable, there's no padding. Some may want to purchase a separate cushion for use in the chair. 2. The back of the chair is straight vertical, making it somewhat uncomfortable for some users who may want lumbar support. You can puchase that seprately. 3. There are no storage pockets on the chair. NOTE: This chair is very useful, and sturdy, but It will not work for larger people as the seat is narrow (19"), and the foot rests have multiple settings, but not for really long legs, despite being rated for up to 300 pounds. I'd guess no more than 200 pounds and 6' tall for this chair. I'm very impressed with this lightweight, foldable, transport wheelchair. It's made a huge difference in my quality of life as a caregiver. My husband has commented that it rides rougher than the previous chair, but that chair probably weighs 35 to 45 pounds and has large wheels on either side. The full-sized, older wheelchair was tough to load in and out of my vehicle, and wouldn't go through our doorways at home. This chair solved the problems of hurting my back when loading and unloading, and this transport wheelchair fits great in our small house. I can use it to get him in and out of the bathroom when he can't use his walker, and to roll up to our dinner table. There are a lot of people in my situtation who are learning what works and what doesn't as a caregiver. This works. Check out the info in this review and if it works for you, buy it. You won't regret the purchase. TIP: Check the price differences in the colors. I saved thirty by purchasing red vs blue.

lightweight, well thought design
I bought this for my mother based on the features of a similar wheelchair that we had borrowed and that I liked. But this one was a little better. We've used it for 3 months, now, whenever she has to go out. It's light enough to be easy to put into a car's trunk with one hand. The footrests are detachable, and if the trunk is a bit too small, the handles fold down. And that design is nicely done because there's a bit of a bend in the handles so that they wrap around the frame. Other transport wheelchairs have the handle straight with the frame and they end up having to be angled away so those chairs don't lay flat. This one does lay flat with the handles folded, and that also makes the chair significantly smaller. The brakes can be locked (a common feature). The footrests can be flipped up or swung all the way out of the way, to clear a path to a chair (or car seat)(a common feature, I think). There are pushbars near the rear wheels to help tilt up the chair to get over small bumps. It folds and unfolds very easily. This isn't a super sturdy chair for negotiating rough terrain but it does reliably get my mother to her doctors and the table at the restaurant with little fuss, which is all I ask of it. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Very good value. Rolls well.
I bought this for my father who is 180 lbs and 5'8". He says it is very comfortable and the large wheels help to make the ride smooth over small bumps. Sometimes he sits in it at home instead of the normal house furniture because he says it is so comfortable. It is very light for the size, and easy to push with someone it it. The foot rests remove, handles fold down, and sides come together about half the original width, then it easily fits in any small hatchback and probably most sedan trunks. It can be collapsed, or reassembled, in under a minute. It fits in the rear of my Toyota mini van without any need to collapse. I just put it in the back standing on the wheels, and lock the brakes. The construction is very good, but beware this is a light duty chair which I don't think can take extreme use. It doesn't go at all in gravel, sand or thick lawns. I was afraid to break it when once I tried pushing my dad across the lawn. I took my dad to a cemetery with a paved foot path that had lots of roots raising the pavement. The chair felt like it was twisting out of shape, and I am sure it would not endure a lot of this twisting. The chair is not meant for "off roading". If you stay on hard flat surfaces it is a great chair for the user and the pusher. I think it is very good value and would highly recommend if used only on flat, firm surfaces.

Great buy just incompatible for my dad
The product is actually amazing in terms of quality. Very light weight and sturdy as well. I am returning just because it was incompatible because my father is a bit overweight and mom was not able to handle the wheelchair at steep places. Otherwise it is overall a 5 star.
