fun poems
perfect for getting back into the swing of things with my third grade class. they could relate to many of those poems (think long car rides where kids fight nonstop with siblings!) great springboard for generating conversations/writing pieces in those first few weeks of school where you are trying to get to know the kids and they are sometimes too nervous to speak or know what to write about. totally helps break the ice.

Good children book
