Excellent product, quite hard to break, of proper portion size and clean as well as nicely stack-able, meaning they don't take up much space, not muck of a lip or ridge. Are able to be held with one hand if standing to eat. I use them for myself as well as when i entertain. chili, meatballs, sauces etc.

These Corelle Vitrelle 6-piece soup/cereal bowls are the same size as my bowls. I was needing more, as a few broke over the years. They are a good size, not too big, lightweight and wash in the dishwasher beautifully. They are white, which didn’t match my almond color bowls but it doesn’t matter to me. Better yet I bought these from Amazon Warehouse at a reduced price.

Don't believe the hype about Corelle being "unbreakable." I fell for this marketing lie hook, line, and sinker. These bowls have the audacity to look delicate and innocent while claiming to be indestructible superheroes of the dishware world. Plot twist: They ARE breakable. Very breakable. Catastrophically breakable when they decide to give up the ghost. Here's what happened: I dropped one bowl. Just one. A tiny little slip from my hands. This "unbreakable" bowl didn't just crack or chip like a normal, honest piece of dishware. Oh no. It EXPLODED into approximately 47,000 microscopic pieces that somehow defied physics by scattering into every corner of my kitchen, including places that shouldn't have been mathematically possible. I'm still finding tiny Corelle shards weeks later. My vacuum cleaner is probably part Corelle at this point. BUT (and this is a big but), when they're not having their dramatic explosive moments, these bowls are actually fantastic. Perfect size for soup, cereal, or the tears of someone who just watched their "unbreakable" bowl commit dishware suicide. Classic Corelle quality - lightweight, stackable, and they clean up beautifully. So yes, I bought more. Because apparently I'm a glutton for punishment and I need bowls for my cereal. I bought these bowls to replace melamine bowls the surfaces of which were peeling after 5 years of use. I've been replacing all the melamine dishes with Corelle dishes because, unlike melamine, they are scratch resistant and durable. In addition, Corelle dishes are lightweight and so far, unbreakable. I prefer the plain white to those with designs on them. The 18 oz. bowls are fairly deep, which makes them especially good for cereal and ice cream. Personally, I wouldn't use them for soup because they become quite hot when containing a hot liquid, and they don't have much of a rim to hold on to. The dishes are a good value for the money. I don't expect to have to replace them in 5 years like I did with the melamine.

I love all of their products. These plates are lightweight, durable, and don’t break easily. The quality is excellent.

These look great and match my existing set perfectly. Corelle is really good for everyday use because you can handle them roughly and put them in the microwave. Just a heads-up: a few bowls had some slight bumpiness on the exterior bottom that kind of goes up the sides. You can't see it, but I noticed it while handwashing and kept scrubbing thinking it was food before I realized it was a manufacturing texture issue. It isn't on all of them, and they still sit flat, so it doesn't affect how they work.

Literally the perfect size bowl. They are thin and lightweight. They can probably break easy but honestly I’m so tired of thick bowls. They take up too much space in the dish washer and cabinet. These are compact.

Didn’t say if it was microwave safe. Now on your survey, I see thst they are. Very nice dishes. Appreciate the lightness of the bowls.

Corelle is trusted! Im using corelle dinner set since past 5 years. Many Thanks to manufacture for assuring reliability. Thing which bothers : 1) HIGHLY EXPENSIVE 2) VERY LESS COLORFUL OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE 3)COLORFUL SETS ARE 3 TO 4 TIMES EXPENSIVE THAN SIMPLE PLAIN WHITE OR DULL COLORED OPTIONS. I Never understood what sort of marketing strategy they have? ALSO THE SET FOR 6 SERVES OR 8 SERVES ARE SO EXPENSIVE THAT Always needed to wait for discount offers to buy more.. n thats also the pain white ... and even if it is disconnected still its expensive!!! Im extending my words here : I think colors can approach more business... also can attract new customers.. and so quoting more and more expensive prices for new and beautiful colorful options may limit the business sale. I trust you for reliability but I wish for more beautiful colors on dinnerware with reasonable prices.

These are my favourite good quality very sturdy not easily chipped bowls for every day use. They are the perfect size for me and a great price. They will last years. Dishwasher and microwave safe. They never stain and no problems with absorbing the colour or smells of foods. Easy to clean.
