Simple Chi Kung: Exercises for Awakening the Life-Force Energy Paperback – December 30, 2011

All in one place, no but there should be. This does not contain all of Mantak Chia's Chi Kung exercises but it covers a pretty good selection. I found much of what Master Chia has written is perhaps a bit verbose and not as well focused as it could be. Now it seems like he might be rewriting and editing much of his earlier writings with the assistance of his students. This to me seems like a good move and maybe his vast array of knowledge can be rendered easier to understand. These more recent writing refer to his road map and the levels of accomplishment. To me it seems a guide book to reading and studying his material might be a good idea, volume on Roadmap to Healing Tao system sounds like a good idea.. Some will find some of exercises and activities useful and others may find some material not as applicable to themselves. There is so much material and not all those materials are needed by all persons. This particular volume is very good and very succinct. It does indeed help to have a teacher or to to assist you in using these materials, don't expect to learn this through reading a book. Enjoy this more recent volume in the vast Mantak Chia library

In all honesty this is a phenomenal book. Concise, condensed, precise. Health is the main priority for a human being. Basic things and approaches can make an entire difference in human life. Thank you for having such good books for the public!

I purchased this book to get the Qigong exercise forms. I have only begun to work with this book. Practice is the essence of gaining the benefits from Qigong so a routine with memorized/learned exercise forms is required. My cursory review of the book indicated I will get the assistance I am seeking with descriptions and pictures, which is what I wanted in my library of informative materials.

The book was delivered on time . I could not read it though . It had water damage and the pages were stuck together .That's ok though 'thanks for trying.

Good as expected

Haven't read it yet. Based upon the introduction facilitating a warning not to proceed performing the arts within the pages unless under the strict guidance of a master. OK, thanks for letting me know before I purchased. Lamo.

Should be able to activate, cultivate, and circulate Chi in less than 4 months.(If been on the path for some years, ...)

Very good stuff - if your into Qi Gong or energy work and you have a good instructor - do it. Great stuff in here.

The book uses illustrations as best as it can but unless you meet someone who is practicing it live, well, some of the descriptions are still difficult to follow by just looking at the book. A video would be better to illustrate the techniques.

Thought this was a really good book with an excellent introduction to the theory of the bodies energy system and how this applies to Chi Kung. Haven't tried all the exercises yet though.

This book is for beginners who want to learn about Chi Kung. It covers history, uses, theory and basic exercises.
