Is this size approved for bts ptd concert?

Yes. It is the max size requirement. 12x11x6. But double check with the current concert policy.

I haven’t checked waterproof-ness at the seams. It’s definitely water resistant but might not hold up for a long time as the ice melts. And it’s not insulated so the bag will probably “sweat”. Short answer is yes but I would not recommend it. But... Maybe I will try it out to see how long it holds because I like that idea.

I can see that someone put a normal ipad in it, but has anyone tried with a 12.9” ipad pro? based on the dimensions, it seems like it should fit…

We don’t have an iPad Pro so not sure. Since the sides are flexible I think there’s a good chance you could get it in. Amazon has a great return policy if it won’t work for you though.

Would a 3" binder and some books fit in this bag?

Not a 3" binder, no. I just tried it with a 1 1/2 inch binder; it could probably be carried around like that with the zipper open but I could not zip it all the way shut. You could fit a couple of smaller books in it as well. You would probably need a bag that is 1-2 inches larger, both height and width. It's a great bag if you can find a slightly larger one. :)
