What is the cooking surface of the 12" pan?

I measured this pan and it is 10”. I love this pan and the food just slides out onto your plate

Can I use metal utensils with this pan?

Not recommended. There are lots of "plastic" utensils available. I would look for one of them and not take a chance on scratching the non-stick.Just a personal recommendation.

Interesting question. Cuisinart 12" skillet and packaging did not indicated where it was made. However, I also purchased Cuisinart 8" and 10" skillets - packaging on these pans indicated "Made in China".

Once again Amazon provides conflicting details on a product. One section says its dishwasher safe and another says to hand wash only, so which is it?

It is dishwasher safe. I must say that I never put mine in the dishwasher. I have the three different sizes and I hand wash them. They are nonstick so are easily cleaned. I have found no need to stick it in the washer. Besides it is pretty big and takes up too much room.
