I think this book has been one of the most influential books I have ever read, and the most frightening. I have been convicted to the level of mass murderer who deserves nothing less then to be tormented in Hell forever...yet, thanks to my Savior there is a way to escape Hell. And I know the way - the saddest thing is that I am human and I am a sinner. I have fear of others so I haven't been faithful in sharing the good news that sinners can be saved by Christ's blood and sacrifice. When I have shared it I didn't want to tell about the sinner's reward, the Lake of Fire, because it isn't pretty. I now am learning to read the Bible differently, to stop thinking the promises are so I can have my earthly dreams come true but that they are so I can be on fire for Jesus and not my selfish wants. So I can help others escape eternal torment.This is a must read for every Christian. We don't want to miss the promised land...(And if you don't believe in all that, Jesus, Heaven, Hell, can I just ask one question? How will following Christ change your life? What do you think you have to give up? I still have nice things, a good life,a loving family and lots of friends. I don't get drunk anymore so I don't get hangovers or DUIs, I don't need drugs, I am happy. I don't date losers or marry them and my heart doesn't break anymore. I miss nothing of my life before Christ, I have peace, happiness and love. Isn't that what you want?)

My life has changed since reading this book. I cannot tell you how my whole foundation has changed. You must have eternal thinking with a balance to your everyday walk with the Lord and knowing and walking in the calling of God. This book really opened my eyes to see the truth.

John Bevere has done it again! If you want to truly get yourself ready for eternity- this book is a must read! I have read most of John's books and this one is definitely one of his best! If you are not afraid of disagreeing with most of what religion believes, this book will make you do "a check up from the neck down!" It is all about our hearts and motives that will determine our rewards and responsibilities in eternity. Once saved, always saved does not match up with Scriptures! The mere truth that our names can be blotted out of the Lamb's Book of Life should have arrested most of our attentions. I highly recommend this book if you are concerned about your destiny and the account that we all will give at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Check it out!

I've read this 6 times and I need to read again. Why? Because it is excellent and a constant reminder to understand what is at stake.

This passionately written book by John Bevere will both excite you and convict you. It is for both those who earnestly serve God with every breath and for those who are lukewarm. It is for both the non-believer and for those who are "on the fence". This book will stir your soul and cause you to rethink every facet of your life! If you are not changed by reading this book, than there is no hope for you. If you are not changed from this book than I believe you are spiritually dead. This book will help you seek out the calling on your life and will make you declare, "I AM READY TO SERVE YOU LORD!". I highly recommend it to ANYONE who can read. I have already purchased over 10 of these books and have handed them out to friends, relatives, or people that I don't even know that well. This book is anointed! Buy it, read it, and then buy more to give away.

Excellent study. John Bevere is another great teacher of the Word. Captivating. Makes you think about how you are living your life for the Lord.

Compellingly written directive focusing Christians on what is most important in life and thereafter. Mr Bevere's style is engaging without being condemning. I always leave encouraged after finishing any of his works. God bless and enjoy.

Fantastic Book.I have only paid a fraction of a price, as this was a second hand purchase.Even though a wait was fairly long as it was arriving from across the pond, it was still worth it.It is such a good book, I will want all my friends to read it.Thank you.

Powerful book. I was told it was controversial but I have to say- it was no more controversial than the bible. Well written The author take up the story of the judgement seat of Christ.

Challenging reading but highly recommend it. Reminded of the importance that there is hell and a heaven and we will be called to account for how we spend on time in this lifetime and our choices on earth. Very thorough but very readable.

Fab book......really encouraging. It makes you wander about your salvation and how your action on earth will impact your destination to go to heaven or hell. This is a fantastic read.
