I made the mistake of not discharging the old battery fully before removing it. I had to distort the old battery to remove it... I was handling the old battery after removing it, and heard a small "psst" sound and saw a wisp of smoke come out of the old battery. OH F**k! I thought to myself as I held the thing and ran for the door to the outside. I tripped and fumbled for the door. Just as I get the door open and throw the thing outside the old battery bursts into flames and lets out a cloud of smoke.I nearly got burned, or burned something inside my house. Please be careful and take this replacement seriously. Discharge the old battery fully, and be careful if you have to bend or distort the old battery to remove it, it can and will burst into flames. This battery is a vast improvement over the failing battery it replaced. Just be sure you want to take on removing your old battery. The double sided tape is extremely sticky and don’t be surprised if you end up having to destroy the old battery as you remove it.

This is just what is needed when your phone is aging and your battery life is not what it used to be. Installation was not hard but was a little tricky, especially getting the adhesive off of the battery. It was definitely worth it

My old battery would die half way without me using it before noon at work. With this new battery, at the end of the day I’ll probably be at 25% before I go to sleep! Glad now I only have to charge it once a day.

Very powerful battery. old battery can last only one day. now it can last 2 days. it hold also in cold ski mountain. The tool is also high quality.

Where is the Adhesive gasket? Had to leave my phone unassembled to order the adhesive gasket for the case

The battery is pretty good. But without the sealing ring, the phone won't be waterproof.
