great bulbs very bright light.... i was impressed

Great LED lights! I replaced a lot of bad LED lights in the house my wife and I recently moved into. The previous owner left a lot of brand new MR16 LED bulbs here, so I replaced the nonoperational bulbs and they kept failing. I thought we had some bad transformers because of this. Before I tore into the ceiling, I bought a set of these. They have been working perfectly!

I've only had these a few days so keep that in mind. Also, currently its in a non-dimmable setting so I've no idea about how the dimming works. As bulbs fail in our house we're replacing standard bulbs with LEDs. I used my last halogen bulb so it was time to switch to LEDs. I looked around a lot on Amazon before deciding on these. The light and spread is great. The casual observer can't see the difference but will all the LED replacements for these halogens there's no back scatter from the bulb so if you have the sort of fitting (track light) where you get a pretty pink back scatter on the ceiling, you lose that with these bulbs. I give them 4 stars as they're longer than the Phillips halogen bulbs I'm replacing. They fit fine in my fixtures but if you buy these to replace a halogen MR16 where the face of the bulb is flush with the face of the fixture, then these bulbs will sit proud of such fixtures which might be annoying. On the dimming side, while I haven't dimmed these, the usual complaint is of flickering. This is because the LED has some fancy electronics on the inside to regulate the power to the LED which generates the light. Turn down the power and those electronics are not so happy and start to flicker. To avoid flicker you'll certainly need an LED rated dimmer like the Lutron dimmers. The MR16's I have on a dimming circuit are on a Lutron dimmer so I guess i'll find out if these flicker in due course when I have to replace one of those bulbs. In short, in a non-dimming application for sure, these work well, and give a good light that blends well with halogen MR16s.

Great color, even, wonderful dimming ability (with one transformer i used I was able to get my Lutron down to 1% which I never have seen before). I highly recommend these. Great color temperature for a bedroom or living room.

While it is dimmable, it only dims down a little bit compared to other bulbs. It kept brightness while the voltage is down. So if you are serious about dimming down completely, do not buy this. I ended up install them in my rooms without dimming.

These are not universally dimmable.. Very misleading description. On the box it says"dimmable transformer required". Nowhere was this description found in the ad. They flicker terribly when used with a regular wall switch dimmer. Of course I waited too long to return these!!!! Rip-off!!!

swapped out all our halogen bulbs with these and they are great, much cooler!

Wish I had replaced my lights sooner, but was concerned the dimmers wouldn’t work well. These light are great - work perfectly with my dimmers and have amazing light.

Very happy with the purchase. The LED bulbs are exactly as specified and the dimming works as advertised without any flickers in the lighting. The packaging of the product is very good as well.

Great Product, I have these MR16 track lighting that was flickering because the existing bulbs weren't dimmable. It was a struggle to find dimmable bulbs in store so I was quite happy when I found these.

They’d bulbs have a nice warm colour to them and don’t flicker when you dim them. Great price as well.

I bought the more expensive version dimmable but it's not really dimming. Bad description.
