Double wide battery box
Liked size and price. Built strong and rust proof. Unfortunately just to big for my available location.

Large Battery Box could be a Tight Fit
We had recently purchased a 200ah Lithium Battery to replace the aging 6v batteries on our Travel Trailer. This battery was physically wider than the 6v units, and no conventional "dual" SLA Battery Boxes would contain this unit. Having originally strapped the battery to the front of the trailer, I was immediately concerned with curious eyes and sticky fingers. I knew a battery box would be required, not necessarily for elemental protection, but to conceal. The battery we purchased was a standard Group 8D size, and while a tight fit in the stock battery location, it did fit with plenty of spare room. The main issue I have with this box, and the reason for knocking a star off, is it is simply over-sized. That's not usually a huge problem, but trailers are designed to be in motion, and you don't really want your battery sliding around, even if it's inside a box meant to contain it. I didn't spend a lot of time trying to see if I could strap the battery down inside, but there was nothing I saw that was obvious. Instead, I used a couple of foam packing "boards" to stuff into the sides of the box and keep the battery from moving. The next issue was the box was so large, it had to be assembled, battery and all, before being set into the battery tray. This meant I couldn't even properly screw it into the battery tray. The space is so tight, that I can't even remove the lid. And while it would be physically impossible to remove the battery without first unbolting everything off the front of the trailer, I used a ratchet strap to be extra secure. Granted, you may not have this issue as every trailer is different. I feel I got lucky and the box "just" fit. The box itself is very sturdy, and I thought the battery cable pass through locations were perfect. The lid has rubber grommets to help seal against water intrusion. It was the most affordable 8D solution I could find. Just make sure you are aware of the sizing issues.

Heavy duty
Heavy duty. Quality. But it was too big to fit in this area. So we had to return. Not products fault.

Great inexpensive tool box!
Fit perfectly in the back of my Colorado a strap to strap it to the front of the truck works perfect and my tonneau cover goes over it!

Perfect for storing my boat's house batteries!
These storage boxes are very well constructed and very spacious. My two new LiFePo4 house batteries will be well protected inside of them. The lids are nice and secure too.

Excellent box
4x100AH Lifepo4 batteries. 2xWattcyle minis and 2xregualr size batteries. Tight fit but got the job done!

Box is just a hair bigger than described. Perfect for 3 group 27 batteries.
I have been searching for a battery box for my 3 group 27 trolling motor batteries. This box kept coming up but the measurements provided were 1/2in too narrow for the batteries I had. After striking out elsewhere I figured I could smash them into this box. It arrived today and they actually fit like a glove. One picture is with the batteries spaced as far apart as possible. You can see the small gap remaining. The other picture the batteries are centered. This is exactly what I needed.

Parfait pour habiter ma pile aux Lithium

This is well overpriced for what is essentially a very simple plastic box. The lid is poorly fitting and only the top inch is "double walled".

Used for commercial use. Does the job very well

Our 300AH lithium battery fits perfectly in this battery box. I installed soft foam at the bottom of the box to absorb the shock from road driving.

I liked it as I wanted to put a normal 12v in and separate it with a wooden divider and apart foam, I use it as a control centre for the boat.... Spray foam, divider not included
