Apex 3 RGB Gaming Keyboard – 10-Zone RGB Illumination – IP32 Water Resistant – Premium Magnetic Wrist Rest (Whisper Quiet Gaming Switch)

As a Keyboard snob and a very hard keyboard user, I really like this keyboard and this company overall. It has a nice break for each key and while the typing is not whisper quiet, it is much less than a cherry red mechanical. I can touch type easily and quickly as everything is where it should be. I also have a older Apex 5 keyboard with the Cherry Brown keys I believe - great keyboard as well, but noisy. I think this Apex 3 is superior in feel and typeability. I have never used the wrist rest before on any keyboards due to my very large hands, but this time I gave it a go, and it really improved the overall feel through my wrists. I am now a believer in the hard smooth angled wrist rests One thing I really like about this keyboard is that you can get the white LEDs pretty bright so that I can program without overhead lighting and never not see the keys - it is bright enough and it looks legit while being bright. I am too old for the RGB effects, just give me bright white keys! On my Apex 5, I wore the keys to a high shine and it still hasn't missed a beat. Steel series knows how to put out a extremely useable, high quality product every time. I have had virtually all the big names keyboards and they all have their charms, but for reliability and quality, none has surpassed this manufacturer in my experience, although some have equaled it. From a dollars and cents standpoint - this is a excellent value!

I love everything about it. I can't get into my BIOS with the delete key, but neither could my other keyboard except once on accident. So clearly the problem lies elsewhere. But thats irrelevant. I love membrane keyboards now. I'd always heard they felt bad. But they feel and sound great too me. Obviously a preference thing. It's much quieter than my mechanical keyboard, and that was the entire point in me getting the keyboard. So that's great. I can press these keys as fast I want without breaking the sound barrier! Keep in mind, any keyboard will be loud during intense gameplay, but this one is still quieter. I love having a full keyboard. Used to have a 60%. The extra keybinds are great. Feels super responsive in my experience. No complaints. The media wheel is pretty fun to play with. Just don't accidentally blow out your eardrums by maxing the volume and forgetting it. The rgb is bright enough without flashbanging you. Nice weight. Feels like a solid keyboard. Material feels great. Magnetic wrist rest is awesome. I love it. I wish it was a little stronger of a connection, but it's perfectly fine. No complaints. Can't speak for software because I'm on Linux. Edit: I made into BIOS a long time ago. Just needed to hold the key instead of pressing it as fast as I could.

I have been a fan of Steel Series for quite a while now and this keyboard did not disappoint! The construction of this keyboard is fantastic. It has a durable metal case that feels extremely sturdy and has a very nice weight. The included wrist rest is magnetic, and the magnets are strong enough to keep it in place without worrying about knocking it off by just moving around. The keystrokes feel really nice and responsive for both gaming and general use, and overall this a very comfortable and satisfying keyboard to use on a daily basis. The RGB lights are also a very nice touch, and the Steel Series software is very easy to use and provides great customization options to get the look and feel you need. You can also use programs like SignalRGB and OpenRGB to control the lights if you prefer. For the price of this keyboard, I am pretty blown away by how good the quality is. This is an awesome all-around keyboard at a great price, and I'd definitely recommend it. I bought mine for my gaming rig and I'm seriously considering buying a second one for my workstation! 😄

The keyboard is nice and bright making it easy to see and use. The buttons and functions work great with no issues.

Love using this keyboard, not too noisy when you type. Has a nice tactile feedback also when you type. Pretty good for gaming also. The RGB lighting are worked pretty fine and illuminates the keys fairly well. The only thing I don't like is they replaced the right-click key with a dedicated Steelseries key, which you can't change or remap even when using the Steelseries GG software.

i LOVE this keyboard!!! It is extremely durable; it’s survived many spills and cleanings. The lighting looks great especially when gaming in a dark room. The caps are changeable and pop off easy. It’s not super heavy. The wrist support is magnetic as well. Love this keyboard so much!!

This keyboard is exactly what I was looking for. Quiet switches and smooth press. I can't install the light software on my work computer but that's not the products fault. Really bright lighting under each key. I'm very happy with the feel and looks of the board.

First time review. This keyboard has a fantastic key feel and return on keystroke. The "mat" or whatever is surprisingly nice to rest your hands on while typing. The only critique I'd have is for people with smaller hands is the full size of the keyboard and the relatively "high" position the keys are at. If you have mid-large to large size hands this is a great keyboard!

love it. it is comfortable to type and it is not as noisy as my previous mechanical keyboard. works well with my Macbook. i dont really do gaming on the pc, but appreciate the software to upload games captured direct to youtube. the only thing I cant figure yet out is to link spotify to the keyboard shortcut. it is now linked to the stock music software. overall happy with the purchase. i might get one more for the office!

Needed a new key board and highly impressed with this model from Steel, the keys are back lit nicely and have very positive movement too, decently priced.

Another great product from steel series. Quiet comfortable switches which are quick, soft and easy to get used to. Performs like a higher end keyboard but attractively priced. good long warranty and has a comfy and easy to clean magnetic wrist wrest which is easy to add or remove as desired. also the volume wheel is satisfying and convenient to use.

I bought this for my teenage son for his gaming rig. It looks great and the RGB matches his mouse and fans. The keyboard is solid as you would expect from the brand. The keyboard has been used daily for a few months now and it's shown no issues.
