Works well to get you up and running again
This sensor got my Traeger up and running again at a much better price than an authentic Traeger part. However, it does not work as well as the original sensor. This sensor is 3" long and the original is 7" long. It doesn't seem that this sensor due to the shorter length (I think) is as responsive sot the grill does not hold the desired temperature as accurately as it did with original. Otherwise it does work, the installation instructions were clear and it appears to made from quality materials.

Wouldn’t keep set temperature
This was nowhere near OEM quality. After installing the product it wouldn’t keep my Traeger anywhere near set temperature. Took it off after my first cook and ordered Traeger replacement part.

Nice and hot.
Grill said error, thispiece was rellaced and not it works. Cant tell ya how long its going to last but............ Connecting cord has what appears to be plastic insulation on the outside of it. Hasn't melted yet though.

Works Great
Shorter than the RTD that came with my PID controller. This is a 1000 ohm, two wire RTD (NOT A THERMOCOUPLE) which is "required" for a PID controller for a pellet grill. Works great and will monitor its longevity.

Did not work for my Camp Chef SGX
This did not work with my Camp Chef SGX although stated that it would… it’s shorter a d the wore is different. There is also no plugin so you will have to splice the wires when replacing, it never read accurately or functioned correctly for me. These are not the droids you are looking for.

rtd probe is great
It was only about half the length as the old one but works just fine

Five Stars
Exactly what we needed to fix our one year old Traeger after getting an HEr code. Thank you!Update 11/24/17... It died. Already. We only use our Traeger 6-7 times a month and this sensor just died today. Disappointing.

Hopefully it lasts longer than the original
Removing the old one was harder than picking up spare change off the floor between your butt cheeks. Once I got past that unholy experience, putting it in was easy and it works great, no issues.
