When we built our house we always planned to install a central vacuum system. Thirty some years later we finally did it, and wish we had done this much sooner! The suction is incredible compared to our previous vacuums (Electrolux and Airway), the sound is significantly less and it's much easier than dragging a vacuum all over our house. We now only have to move the hose to each outlet. It was fairly easy to install (our basement is not finished). One drawback that I've seen on most other vacuum systems is that there is usually a connection on the vacuum itself to connect a separate hose from the system, we conquered this by adding an extra y connection and pipe to another hose connection. This way we can also use the vacuum in our basement. We purchased another hose with accessories so we don't have to drag the hose and accessories up and down the stairs. We also installed a 'dustpan' under one of our kitchen cabinets which is awesome, but might be a problem if small children are in a home and like to put things in it.

Really love the suction better than my old Nutone. And it is less noisy also! Only thing is the vacuum hose is less durable and made out of plastic. But over all I love this vacuum system!

Our old Nutone unit died. Installed this one and it's much quieter and has much more suction.

Installing the vacuum system was rather easy to install, as long as you have the proper pipe sizes and conversion kits (I had to modify my inlets to fit the larger size pipe diameter.) The system sound was hardly noticeable all through the house.

The vacuum broke in less than year. The motor started making a very loud noise and no suction. This vacuum allegedly comes with a 10-year warranty. However, getting the warranty honored is no walk in the park. They tell you to email them but they barely respond to emails. I called several times and was given the run around. First, they told me they would send me a new motor. Then they said they were out of motors and weren’t sure when they would be back in stock. When I asked for a supervisor, they said they would send me a new unit and I would have the tracking number that same day. Then, I didn’t hear from them as promised. I called several times and this time the motor was in stock and they would be sending it. Now, motor is sent but they shipped from Canada and didn’t provide customs information so package is delayed with UPS. Not worth the frustration for something that breaks within a yaer and then warranty support is so difficult to get.

Even though this product had great reviews, I was nevertheless expecting something slightly ‘less’ than the top of the line vacuum (a knock-off expectation). I’ve used BEAM, etc. - the most expensive central vacuums available. This one performs better than any other I have used (or seen). Wow. Buy it.

When my old vac died I got the OVO. Installation was easy and it works great . It’s smaller than my previous one but it works much quieter and superb suction.
