Are the plates, bowls, cups and silverware Dishwasher Safe? I read they can be... but should they safely be?

The plates, bowls, & cups I would say yes to being dishwasher safe. The silverware however I wouldn't trust. In my opinion the handles are cheaply made... The Enamel coating used can withstand cooking on an open fire while out camping, (same coating used on pots, pans, & coffee pots.)

can use in microwave ?

No. NOT for use in a microwave.

Why does one price say 24.97 and when you try to purchase it the price goes up to 27.97

Dear Brenda likely to commodity price adding the import duty of the state. Thank you for the question.
