Palatable and effective lysine supplement!
The maple smell is almost good enough to try myself! Just kidding. My cat has been having respiratory issues for a while now, and my vet suggested getting a lysine supplement. It may or may not be the supplement itself, but I noticed a significant difference in her breathing/decreased sneezing within a couple of days! An additional plus is that she loves this gel so much!

Keeps my cat healthy!!
Amazing product, my cat loves this stuff. Its definitely helped to keep my cat healthy . Doesn’t seem to have any digestive issues or problems eating it. She absolutely loves the maple syrup flavor, I think it smells so good.

Works! Give with churu squeezed on it!
Same day delivery is a life saver! This stuff works and I have experienced with both of my cats. Years ago one of my cats got severely ill (she was not vaccinated) from a vets office! I know this for sure because she’s indoor only and had not left the house in a year! We went to the vet for an ear infection and 2 days later she had a high fever and runny eyes, open mouth breathing - almost died! Then of course my other cat contracted it because I didn’t separate them in time (as there were no symptoms for 2 days). Both went to the vet multiple times and we fought like hell to get them better and the vet was telling me to be very careful with lysine which went against everything I had seen and read and I gave it to them anyway. Within a couple of days both were doing significantly better. Now, one of my cats has been in the hospital for 2 days and she’s now sneezing and coughing. I checked with her new vet before giving it to her because she’s on a lot of medications right now and has some underlying conditions and he said he had no problem giving it to her. I was able to order same day delivery and I’m am positive within a couple of days she will be just fines. Always better to catch it early so at the very first sign start giving it right away. (Always consult with your vet). If your cat won’t eat it just squeeze some churu treat on it! My cat ate it right up and licked the plate clean.

GLAD I FOUND THIS
My cat, Ginger, is 15. Recently she became sick, would hardly eat, had runny eyes and congestion. Vet said she had a very high fever, gave her a antibiotic shot...and injected a bag of fluid in her. She was much better the very next day. But a couple of days later, she seemed like she might be regressing. My daughter came over and when I told her Ginger's symptoms, she said, "It sounds like she has feline herpes". She has four cats who all deal with it! She ran home, came back with her Viralys gel, and coaxed Ginger to take some from my daughter's finger. She kept offering it to her, and thankfully, Ginger kept licking. Daughter gave me the rest of the tube and told me to offer Ginger all she would take, since she had been feeling so bad. The very next day, the eyes stopped running. Te congestion disappeared! Fever was gone! I'm sure the antibiotic injection from the Vet, helped, but it was only after taking in the maple flavored ointment that she came out of it. That was about three weeks ago. Ginger has been eating well, put some weight back on. Seems her usual 15 year old self, thank God! I bought the powder, and treats, also. because some days she doesn't seem to like the ointment, or the treats. I offer all three daily. I figure between the three products, she will hopefully get the 500mg recommended dosage.. I have two other cats, who seem fine, but I offer the treats...which reminds me, I read that a possible side affect, esp with the treats is diarrhea. Haven't had to deal with that! The treats are very hard so it's not easy for two of my "old" cats to eat them. One, who is younger just loves the treats. This is the longest review I've ever done, but I wanted to share this story. I really believe Ginger's immune system was very weak and the l-lysine brought it back to normal. I won't be without l-lycine. I will mention that I saw another brand in Amazon I plan to try. It is made in the USA and is salmon flavor. That way, if she bucks on the maple, she probably will take the salmon...and it's about $5 cheaper, too. Heading now to go do a review on the powder. God bless!

Works great, cats love the taste
Works wonderfully on my 2 cats when I hear them sneezing or coughing. Haven't had to take them to vet for the "colds". And they love the taste, it is a treat for them.

I Have To Accept And Live With Reality, But I Can Still Choose Who I Buy From
To begin with, if this product is so popular, they need to keep the proper amount of inventory in stock. A product like this can be considered critical to the owner of an ailing pet. I had never heard of "Feline Herpes" and I've had cats my entire life. When my INDOOR 3 year old cat started sneezing, the Vet calmly told me what it was and I freaked out. "He's got WHAT?" I said. But he's an indoor cat and only goes outside with me in a harness on a leash. Yes, I walk my cat like a dog and I've been doing that since he was 8 months old. All my other cats were allowed to go outside because that's the way I was raised with cats growing up. But they all died from disease or getting hit by a car eventually and I didn't want that to happen ever again. So I bit the bullet and decided this cat would be an indoor cat and only go out when I was with him. Then I said, "Excuse me. Are you saying that because he barely touched noses for less than 2 seconds with the neighbor's outdoor cat that he now has this **** too? Where the **** is this coming from and why is it so easy to get it and why haven't I heard of it before?" The Vet told me that EVERY outdoor cat has it and that was just unacceptable to me. So imagine my agony when he explained that I don't have a choice but to accept it and deal with it. He said it's brought on by stress. Just like human herpes. He said I had to get on the Internet and buy some of this medicine and give it to him twice a day. So I got on the Internet and read 9 hours of reviews and hey, it's my kid. So yeah I did that. This product in the gel form was the only way to get my kid to take stuff like this and it was the overall best product I could find with the highest amount of the ingredient I needed my cat to ingest. My high energy, happy, strong, normally crazy funny cat had been sneezing and sickly for the first time in his life and he had been this way for 3 days already and it didn't seem to be getting better. So needless to say, I was anxious to get this stuff. The purchase at checkout said I would have it in 3 days, but it took over a week to get it because they were out of stock. By that time I had already gone to the local Pet Mart and got the maximum percentage I could find which was only 50mg. I had to crush it up and mix it into a batch of gel hairball treatment to get him to take it. I spread it on his leg and he licks it off. That's our way of getting him to take stuff he wouldn't take on his own. After 4 days his sneezing slowed down and he seemed to begin feeling better but in all honesty, he had been sick for almost two weeks now so just going by the calendar and all things being equal, he probably would have been getting better by then anyway. So I can't tell you if it's because of this product or not. Finally, after 3 weeks now he seems to have his energy back close to normal but still not 100% and he still sneezes at least once or twice a day and I've been giving him this oral gel every day and I will continue to do so in the absence of knowing what else to do. But if this Gel worked, wouldn't his sneezing be gone by now? I don't know what to do or think. I'm still mad that they took so long getting this to me because they couldn't keep the proper stock on hand. If it happens again, I'll find another distributor to order it from. Otherwise, my review is mixed and my young kitty is where he is now because of some b***s*** disease I'd never even heard of before.

Cat loves the taste
I realize all cats have different tastes, but I can say with confidence that my cat loves this stuff. He’ll meow at me as soon as he sees me take it out of the fridge. I squirt some into his bowl and he goes to town on it until it’s gone. Two squirts a day. As far as it’s effectiveness at boosting immune system, he has feline herpes and is prone to flare ups. He hasn’t had one in a couple years now. He’s just 3 yo.
