hi any recent buys here that can tell if it's still the made in Austria models?

K712= made in slovakia. everything else (including K612) = made in china.

Is this recommended for positional accuracy for PC gaming?

I would say it's good enough for positional accuracy. You can easily tell the position of sound source.

Is the ear cup size the same on the K612 as the K712? 70mm?

Sorry for the late replay. K612 and K712 Both are same ear pads. Thank you.
