My dachshund fits it. She’s not overweight at all, I could see how maybe a fat one might struggle squeezing in with the width and height. She curls up in a ball when she sleeps so it’s perfect for her. She had to get use to going in / out a couple times cause the top almost hits her back if she’s not careful. But again, I know it’s not meant for dogs she’s figured out a way to get in it just fine though. I can imagine this really nice for outdoor cats too. The images used for the directions could’ve been better as an example shown but we figured it out eventually
