What is the difference between this product and the #84?

This product is #84. #82 is a liquid spray cleaner, and serves the same purpose but doesn't have the abrasive like this does.

How good is this at keeping the glass clean? I usually use ceramic cook top cleaner and have even tried Turtle Wax, but my glass is dirty again.

It's a very good product for cleaning the glass, and it isn't very harsh on your skin (I did wear gloves though.) I don't think it will keep the glass clean, but the first time I used it the glass hadn't been cleaned in years. I think once a season will keep the glass clear enough for me.

Does this work on gas fireplace glass?

It worked very well on the inside of the glass of my gas fireplace , that is why I bought it. It cut through 5 years of built up soot and dirt very quickly with just a little elbow grease.

Can this be used on tempered glass?

Sorry this is all I could find on the product-sounds like an amazing item;f you want crystal clear glass every time, you will want this Hearth and Grill Conditioning Glass Cleaner by Rutland. Safe yet strong, this non- scratching formula removes baked on smoke, creosote, soot, carbon, and mineral residues from the following: glass, stainless steel, chrome, aluminum, ceramic range tops, and porcelain or tile surfaces. This formula is also safe to use on fireplace inserts and glass doors on your coal, oil, or woodburning stove, as well as fiberglass showers to remove soap scum. This conditioning formula leaves a protective silicone layer behind to make the next cleaning easier.
