These do exactly what I bought them for. Like a lot of people, I use power strips throughout the house, but chargers and power cords are often so large that they take up as many as three outlets on the power strip. These short extension cords allow all of the outlets to be used and they seem to be high quality.

I guess I didn't realize how short 1 foot is, considering that most of it are the plugs. But, hey, they work.

The prongs and insertion holes are not of different sizes, that is not polarity specific. Since these short extension cords in my case will mainly be used for electronic equipment due to their typical over-sized plugs, e.g. modems, switches, etc., I am concerned that if the polarity is not correct, the device's function may be effected. I am not an electrician or computer guy, this is just my suspicion. I would not have purchased these if I realized ahead of time of this detail. Otherwise, they are excellent manufactured products, with heavy appearing electrical cord, very solid end pieces and cosmetically well designed. Came neatly packaged, each in a separate plastic bag, enclosed is a single larger plastic bag. Again, I would not have purchased these if I knew ahead of time of the polarity design omission of the cord.

Alleviated a lot of headache and concern over not being able to fully use battery back-up. Helped organize plugs and even acted as an extender in one case. Highly recommend product especially value pack.

Very handy three prong extension cords. Very useful to connect bulky transformers to an outlet or power srip.
