Thompson Chain Reference Bible (Style 824Granite) - Regular Size NIV - Kirvella Leather Leather Bound – January 1, 2015

I ordered this bible in December and had to get the NIV. All other translations were out of stock. I really wish I had the NASB, ESV or NKJV, but I can knock this study bible due the translation I choice. I originally got it for the cross reference. I quickly fell in love with the character studies. The archaeological supplement was also a pleasant surprise. I own several study bibles. The ESV study Bible remains my favorite. But if you want a Study Bible that does little to promote any specific theology, yet offers several helpful tools and studies. This is the Bible you want.

Bought this as a High School graduation gift for our Grandson. Husband has had his Thompson Chain Reference for at least 20 years and wanted Grandson to have one too.

I've bought 3 of these - 2 for friends - LOVE IT!!! Great study aids and I LOVE the 1984 version of the NIV.

I like following all the references. I get a complete picture of the topic.

Thompson Chain Reference Bible is a must for good study material and just what I needed for a presentation. The packing and delivery was excellent. However, this Bible has a binding problem. The center is lumpy and not flat. It is disturbing. Sad to see a great book, poorly done.

I bought this as a quickie replacement for my Mother who is a minister when hers was stolen. It was way better than we expected. It had a nice cover and very nice leather case. Wonderful!

Excellent reference Bible. Easy to use. Print a good size for us middle aged sort! I have used this Bible for over 40 years (albeit KJV previously) and tried other Bibles but this for me is my favourite. It would be great if they could bring out an ESV as well.
