Can you use this paint to change the color of shoes?

We don't recommend using on a pair of shoes since it is a water based paint. Stencilease Customer Service Team

would this be suitably for furniture, after a polyurethane top coat added?

Cheryl,We recommend that this acrylic paint be used prior to adding your top coat. This paint adheres best to surfaces that have some sort of texture, like a slightly sanded prepped surface. Please let us know if you have any further questions.Thank you,The Stencil Ease Team

Yes. I used it to paint gray rocks and the rock color didn't show through.

Does this paint have a flat (or matte) finish, or is it glossy or semi-gloss?

Water-based Acrylic Paint - this paint is more of a matte finish. Americana paints are heavily pigmented and easy to use. The paints are durable, washable, and adhere to most surfaces; fabrics, walls, floors, furniture, canvas, metal, paper, leather etc. These acrylics shade and blend very well. Easy clean-up; use soap and water or any brush cleaner.

Amazing deal!!

It was an unbelievable deal!! And the quality is amazing. However, it’s the liquid medium of paint. So I found to perfect for lightening up colors rather than using it as a stand alone white color.
