Mrs. Stewart's Liquid Bluing

This has been around d forever because it works. Great for keeping white laundry crisp white and even works on hair! Great science project for kids growing liquid crystals at home. Very easy to use. Dilute Mrs Stewart’s concentrated liquid bluing and add to white laundry in rinse water. If you’re colorful and adventurous try it on hair…but also start with dilution. The size seems small until you realize the powerful concentration of this product is…then you realize how truly large this size is plus it’s a great value for the money.

I only used this once so far & it did well.

I was unsure how to shampoo with liquid bluing but I was sick of the yellowish cast in my grey hair so I glopped a bunch on. It was a bit of an overshoot. My husband's jaw dropped when I walked in with my cobalt colored hairdo. Plus, I had to do the grocery shopping that day. Believe it or not, I got compliments! Blue hair isn't that strange, it seems, lol. Now I add the bluing to my hair conditioner which is "leave-in" and it gives needed balance to the yellowing.

I’ve used this product about 5 times so far. The apartment complex I live in has hard water and they disconnected the water softener. I can see a difference in the whiteness it’s not as drastic as I would like but there is a difference.

My grandma turned me on to this, and it definitely makes the whites GLOW. I thought, Wow, what a small bottle! This stuff must be expensive! But you know how much it takes for a large load of laundry? ONE QUARTER of a TEASPOON! It's the best value on the planet. If you get some, you won't be sorry.
