Fantastic Product. Will purchase a Small Vortex Next for Added Grilling Versatility
The Vortex is made from thick stainless steel and is welded into a very sturdy cone shape. Provides outstanding high heat which greatly enhances the sear on meats and the quick char on veggies. I't worked great on beef, pork, chicken, broccoli, cauliflower & cabbage so far. While While Medium Vortex on a 22" Weber Kettle Grill it is very versatile and I'm getting fantastic results, I'd consider purchasing my next VORTEX in the small size vs medium to get a little more "indirect / safe cooking area" around the center of the Vortex's SEARING Zone. Again, it's a great product I'd recommend 100%.

Cook’s food evenly on kettle BBQ
Cook’s food evenly with out having to turn food during BBQ cooking. Works well on a kettle BBQ

Better than Webers indirect pans
I used this for cooking brats and italian sausages on indirect heat. Works extremely well and I don't need to go to direct heat. Then for hamburgers I just remove the Vortex and have a perfect bed of coals. Great value, medium is perfect size for 22in kettle.
