Amazing fresh out of the bucket. Super fluffy, stretchy and flowy. Kept my kid busy for 40 minutes which is unheard of, normal attention span is max 7 min. However, it lost its properties by the second playtime, even when sealed tight in original container. It is still good for play otherwise, just no longer slimy in texture. It stains surfaces also, it helps to cover the play area with a sand blanket Update: After sand has dried out, you can restore it to its original texture by adding the tiniest amount of water. If you add too much, you will regret it. Updating to 5 stars

I bought this for my little one as she has sensory issues and her therapist recommended some new textures. We have had kinetic sand in the past and so I thought this would be a cool combination between slime and kinetic sand. It's a little more slimy vs sandy and I wish it had a little more texture to it. However, it is fun to play with and stretch out. When it stretches it almost feels as if it's foamy. The smell is quite fragrant so if you're sensitive to smells you may not be a big fan. This also stays on hands more than kinetic sand or slime so you'll need a wash cloth. I wish the container stated if it was non-toxic (I sure hope) as my little one has a tendency to put hands in mouth and while we watch like a hawk we would feel more comfortable if this stated non-toxic on the container. But, in the end this is a pretty cool product I just wish it didn't stay on hands like it does and maybe that it was a tad more sandy.

My kid age 6 and my teenager 16 loved these! Even the adults were intrigued by the texture! Getting a few more for my nephews! Vibrant colors are a plus! No residue or odor and so easy to use...FUN!

I dont know if the sand we got had gotten dried out or what happened to it but it is not stretchy and it gets blue on everything it touches. We tried adding water like the directions suggested and it helped a little but it still gets blue all over our hands, clothes and anything it touches.

Santa brought a lot of stimulus toys this year, like playdoh, slime, squishy toys and this sand slime. The first thing the kids opened up were these sand slime buckets to play with, and I really didn't know what to expect. They have a very soft sand texture, not as gritty as moon sand though. It's very airy and light qhen you stretch it out, and compact in the container. It's not messy unless you rip it and a small piece falls off, but it's easily put back in its place. I keep stealing it from my kids to play with at night 😂 the texture is so cool and it's a great stress reliever. The only downside I've noticed so far is the very light sand residue, somewhat sticky on your hands when you're done, but it's like, the most mild thing ever. It's more of something you could wipe off with a baby wipe, no real need to wash your hands. The price point was great, it's a lot of sand slime for a pound and a half, and it smells good! I didn't realize it was scented lol. All in all, a great gift, especially if you have an autistic and/or adhd child.
