Ultimate Explorer Field Guide: Rocks and Minerals

My 6 year old loves rocks and minerals and this book is one of her favorites. The pictures are bright and beautiful and there is a lot of educational information included in a way that is great for little readers.

My son will be so happy to receive this! Perfect for his science club!

I paired this up with a National Geographic rock kit for a kiddo very much interested in rocks of every kind! It was an instant hit! I actually purchased two of these books knowing my kiddo would need one too;) I love that there’s real photos of all the rocks and it gives just enough info without being boring for the younger readers.

My 7 year old son loved this! Perfect way to learn and grow his interest in gems/rocks

Beautiful pictures, good information. I bought it for my rock savvy 7 year old, hoping it would be a good guide for identifying rocks while he hiked, but the language was too sophisticated for him and there's just a little section at the end of the book on identifying rocks you may see while hiking. However, he still likes looking at the pictures and the written information will be good as a reference source when he gets older, like maybe 10 years old or older.

My kids love rocks. They pick them up everywhere. They have boxes of them. This books is great. Lots of pictures and information. My sons are obsessed and full of facts.

Great book! There is so much information and my 9 year old budding gemologist just loves it!

My stepdaughter was so excited to get this book. I wouldn't call it a field guide, as it is pretty large for a child to carry around on a long hike. She already has a rock collection and was so excited to look up different rocks. Great color pictures throughout, awesome information and lots of fun facts.

Great book exactly as advertised!

Perfect. Grandaughter lived it would recommend this sellar
