Concepts for Nursing Practice (with eBook Access on VitalSource)

What's missing from this title are the words "access code purchased separately" You're better off purchasing directly from the publisher if you're interested in the eBook.UPDATE: User (me) :/ error. I expected there to be a separate ebook code (as with other textbooks) or a link to the ebook on the student resource page of the publisher site (there is not). You have to go to the actual ebook website and use the code. Once I did that, there it was.I must add, that both Amazon’s customer service and the Publisher’s customer service were both patient and helpful. Though neither were aware of this extra step, (whether they assumed I tried it and it did not work or had the same expectations), both were willing to right the perceived wrong. Soooo. Yeah...As far as the content. I don’t know, just started reading, but hey, its required reading. How exciting could it be.

This was a fast and easy purchase but I would like to enable the reader but cannot figure out how to do this and there is no place to call

This is basically an "ESSENTIALS of Nursing Fundamentals" book. Often those massive "Fundamentals of Nursing" textbooks can be so overwhelming. This book is great for remedial help in Nursing 101. "Essentials" texts should be available more often. .

The right book to be successful for the VN program and once at work.

A GREAT book that has long-term implications for the nursing profession. Complements the medical model, but is uniquely nurse oriented. Spans the depth and breadth of nursing practice. Chapter authors are all true experts. BRAVO.

I only love this book b/c it is required for school and was EXACTLY what I needed without having to sell a kidney to pay for it! lol! The book was in GREAT shape, brand new.

I'm a Student Nurse and this book is EXTRAORDINARY. It has all the "Concepts" you will most likely need to know. Amazing amount of information in a very very small book (compared to other Nursing books). Good job Giddens! Masterful writing.
