I live in a rural area and extra lights are always needed during storms. They were great for the price I paid, particularly with all the charging options. I haven't used solar yet, but they are an easy plug-in and retain a charge for a whilr. The dual-use (flashlight/lantern) are great, so they can be adjusted to your need. They are lightweight so could easily be hung from something. Also, they do well at lighting up a room, as the lantern is bright.

Bought these lights to have on hand in case of power outages at home and they are great. I leave them near a window in the basement so they are always charged when i need them . They are super bright and can illuminate very large rooms. I love that you can use it as a lantern or a like a flash light. The solar or USB charging options are also very convenient. These are a must buy for camping or for around the house incase of power outages.

I picked up these lights for a bit under $30. It's interesting. I like that I can hang them, and I can hang with lights down, or lights around by opening them. It is bright white light, not yellow, so it seems useful in the dark. The size is a bit bulkier than I thought it would be, so I won't be carrying this around in my backpack for hike though. It is definitely nice that I can charge it with micro USB (not USB C) so I can use a power bank to keep charging it. What I don't like about the charging process is when you plug in a micro USB a small red LED light turns on. I had this charging for over 8 hours (plugged into USB), and it still stays red. In the instructions, it does say, "Indicator light is red when charging, and does not change when fully charged." -- meaning the red light stays on when it is fully charged. Would be nice if it turned off when it is fully charged. I am going to just charge them overnight when camping and assume they are charged (4 hours via micro USB, 9 hours via Solar -- need to test that). Running time states 25 hours, but I figure if I use it for a few hours each night, I won't deplete the battery for about 4-5 days. There is a USB charging port to charge devices (it has 1800mAh of storage), but it only works for Android phones. I don't use Android phones, so it is a bit useless. However, interestingly enough, it does charge my very small electronics without any issues, like my Petzl headlamp or Meshtastic messaging device. So I can use it to charge in a pinch. One of my favorite things are the wire hanging parts. I can hang it like a lantern, or I can hang it as a directional light. The directional light has a hot spot and is not evenly dispersed, but it works fine. The wire hangers all tuck away nice and neat. I can throw this in a small stuff sack with the cable in it and leave it in my car. With 4 of these lights, it's quite easy to light up a campsite. I also lit one up in a room pitch dark, and it was enough to see things in the room. The other thing that was nice is if I hang this in a room high or in a tent, I can light up the lantern part as well as the directional light and have both ambient and reading light. For the price, and 4 lanterns, this is a nice purchase. The only reason for deducting one star is the lack of fully charged indicator. I doubt I will buy more if these fail over time, but these are quite nice. I hope this helps.

First, I just want to thank the seller, because I received the product the day before the day I needed it. I ordered this item to use lighting the basement while cleaning after the flood. And my oh my!!!!! This product did a very good job. I use the flashlight. Very good lighting. Very bright and able to see the whole space of the room, because the bright light not just lighting the space you are pointing it too but the surrounding spaces, as well. What I love the most of this product is very lightweight. Very easy to use. Hold the charge very well. The size isn't big or bulky, but when you are a small woman with a carpal tunnel.... this is suitable for you. I love how versatile this product is. This has two charging function that is awesome, especially when your there is no electricity. This can be charged under the sun. Though it takes forever to fully charge but hey I take what I can as long as I can use it without waiting for the electricity to comes back. Very small looking lantern, but very very helpful. I am highly recommending this to anyone needs a light helper. And as long as I am ready to send my Balikbayan box to the Philippines, I will be buying some more to send it to my family that are fishermen. Because this is not just good inside the house but is very good for outdoor light and this is a waterproof, so, it is not going to get wet while on the ocean. Which is very helpful for all the fishermen. I will recommend this product, who needs a little bit of light.

These came already charged although not needed yet. They're rechargeable which is fantastic. They're also solar powered. That's awesome because I get a lot of sun. They're not bulky, about the length of my full hand and like in weight. The "times" made me purchase but these can be used in any light outages and for camping in my backyard. Great ray of light. These small lanterns are very bright. Because they are collapsible they are easy to store. Appreciate you can either charge it by solar or the provided usb cord. I put them in a guest bedroom under a window that gets a lot of sunlight to keep them charged and they are small enough that they are tucked away for the next power outage or if you just need a really bright flashlight it’s charged and ready to use.

These lights are don’t feel real sturdy and feel kinda cheap BUT they do give off a good bit of light and work as intended. They do have a major CON though. There is no battery level indicator. We will have no idea when the batteries are about to drain and need recharging. As I have not had a chance to use them in an emergency yet I don’t know how long they last before they drain or how long it takes to charge via solar. Another con is for everyday use like walking the dog or whatever it doesn’t fit well in your hand as a flashlight. It’s bulky for that with no side handle to hold it as a flashlight. But as a lantern for camping or emergencies it will do. I think I will keep these as I got them on sale and for the price I paid they are decent. I will keep looking for a solar rechargeable flashlight that will work for everyday use as a flashlight and not just a lantern. You can never be too prepared to have too may light sources.

Bought these lanterns for power outages. They are amazing. Battery lasted 3 days when on full the entire time. They do not take long to charge and have a solar charging option, which I have not tried yet. Can carry as a lantern, set on table or use as a flashlight. Great product, reasonable price. Good for emergencies or camping. I recommend this product.
