Does it cook the eggs enough to make deviled eggs?

Absolutely. I am amazed how quickly it cooks eggs to the hard boiled state. Once you cool them down you can easily grate them for making egg salad.

It is leaking water when I try to make hard boil eggs. Did anyone faced the same issue?

I haven't as yet made hard boiled eggs in it. I use mine mostly for poached eggs.

Buzzer- can I take off the buzzer sound?

There is no buzzer sound in my cooker. But there is an automatic shut off when your egg is finish. Note: if your have a buzzar and you modify it you may void any warranty for the cooker.

Why does the shorter cycle (1~4 eggs) require more water; this seems backwards?

It doesn’t. It’s based on not only how many eggs but what style, soft vs hard.
