I'm trying to use wool felt to make custom infant headbands. Is this wool felt?

No, it isn't wool, it is acrylic and the quality is really poor! I will never buy this felt again.

It is not wool blend, it is acrylic. This felt is made in China and it is very low quality. I recommend you to not purchase this product.

I am teaching some hand sewing to kids age 8-13..is this easy to work with for beginners?

I'm a beginner at working with felt (but I'm also an adult!) and I found it to be very nice. It's very soft, doesn't "pill" or fray. Seems to be very nice quality. I used it to make felt flowers for a wreath and they turned out great.
