Hallo, in the free version www.voice-teleprompter.com (included in the purchase), the remote allows to start and stop the script. The speed can be adjusted in the program. In the premium version (IOS App, Android App) you can use the remote and adjust the speed.

Yes or any type of tablet. Just be aware the 'glass' isn't actually glass, it's acrylic.
