Question 1

It looks like a sea monster's tongue. Is it made from real sea monster?

Accepted Answer

UPDATE:
Y'all don't have to worry any longer. National Geographic covered a story about the Blue, Red, Pink and especially Purple sea monsters. The Black and Blue not so much. They have been placed on the Endangered Species listas of June 2023. They were thought to have been humanly farm raised, but a sting operation by The Mythical Sea Monster Society concluded otherwise. Pirates of The Caribbean had been illegally fishing with nets catching more than the law allowed. They were captured and their illegal operation has been shut down. Now the only way to legally catch them is with Tootsie Pops. This is only after the tongues have figured out how many licks it takes to get to the center. If they get it wrong they have to be thrown back.
Thank You for your concern regarding these wonder, helpful and necessary creatures who give of themselves daily to aid all of us in pain relief and relaxation. They are the new Opioid of the 21st Century and couldn't have come soon enough. To all of the wagging tongues of the sea, you took a licking, but kept on ticking.

Question 2

Is this type of device appropriate for a herniated c4 c5?

Accepted Answer

100%! My first use I had a headache and neck pain. At first it was tender to the back of my head. I played around w knees down and then knees up. After about 8min my neck pain was gone and the headache was releasing. After 10 min no pain. I have herniation sat c4-5 and 5-6

Question 3

Why is it so hard?

Accepted Answer

This C-shape cervical traction is design to stretch and realign your cervical spine. It is not a pillow for sleeping. 10 minutes a time, no more than 30 minutes a day. If it is too soft, it is useless.

It is a normal phenomenon that you feel uncomfortable at the beginning. Because your neck needs time to get used to this device, it will be uncomfortable to move your spine into correct position. If you are a beginner, please choose the convex side firstly. Keep a regular use will do good to your cervical spine. The more you gradually work with this, the less neck pain and shoulder tension you will have.
Recently we have online 2 products, which could be more comfort for people who thought this neck stretcher is hard.

How firm is it? i need hard rubber not foam.

Accepted Answer

It’s pretty firm. Like a very hard foam. The only “give” in it is through the design that has a little verticals movement.
