Best book for Reservoir Engineering
This book is easy to read and understand. It helped me pass my interview and get a great job in a big oil and Gas company

Good for Desk Reference on Reservoir Simulation
This is your general reference book on reservoir simulation. It is mostly up to date (and certainly newer than most other reference books on the topic of reservoir simulation). I purchased this book in the hopes that it may have examples from the Merlin reservoir simulator (from Gemini Solutions; Buchwalter himself is one of the developers). Unfortunately, there were only a few screenshots from the Merlin simulator. The examples in this book may prove to be helpful in lack of data. One redeeming quality of this book is the content you find in the discussion paragraphs that precede and follow the equations and calculations. These discussion areas provide the real "practicality" that's needed in reservoir simulation.

The Encyclopedia.
I'm a Chemical Engineering student and I was required to purchase this book for a masters level course (I'm still going for a Bachelors). This book is great, it is widely considered as the encyclopedia for Petroleum Engineering and it was only published a few months ago. Great book, everything is explained in here and there are plenty of examples.
