Most Amazing Robe Ever
After reading many reviews on many Turkish Terrycloth Robes, I decided to order two of these in white. My ❤️ is 6'2 238 2X extra long, which come down 3" above the ankle. I am happily plus D, 5'6 235 18/20 and ordered the men's 2X regular length, which comes to my low calves. It is pleasantly over sized and I like it loose fitting. Because of my 42D anything smaller would have been difficult to wrap around me the way I like it too, meaning truly overlap and stay that way when sitting. The arms had to be rolled up once at the cuff. The women's largest size was a 1X and according to the reviews would not suit my purposes. We got these to put on after the pool and ride in our golf cart home, 5 minutes. Perfect, warm and cozy, plus we both love the hoods! Only the men's had hood option. I washed in cold water and dried on regular heat, no shrinkage at all, no shedding or threads left hanging. Super sturdy, and it has 2 belt loops to choose from. Depending on your height, plus a sturdy loop at the nape for hanging (a plastic stick on hook will not hold them, so don't bother). We both wear them every morning and our usual robes hang forlornly in our closets, we love these. We live in St.Petersburg, Florida and our lows in January are 40's and 50's so they are thick enough for those Temps, not sure if you live in negatives? All around we both, at 56 years and having had many robes over the years, give this a solid "10"! Also it gets softer with each washing! No softeners, just Gain and fabric sheet. 100%recommend this Men's robe with hood.

Very Comfortable
Got this to wear at a camp in the winter, where the showers are separate from the cabin, and the walk between them is outside. Works great. Soft and warm, and the large pockets are nice to have too. The first impression was horrible, though. I'm not sure why, but it comes kinda oily and nasty. I didn't even want to try it on. There's a tag inside that says wash before wearing, but I was worried that if I washed it, I wouldn't be able to return it. Luckily, I washed it anyway, and afterward it was soft and nice. And the 2nd wash, even better. Like I said, I got this for the camp, but I've started wearing it at home too. It's very comfortable.

Love the long length and hood!
A great robe at a good price. Fairly soft. I ordered two for gifts and they sent the wrong size in one. Otherwise a good purchase.

Do Not Buy This Robe Lest You Become "Old Guy in Bathrobe All Day!"
So, hypothetically speaking, let's say fortune has smiled upon you and you are eying early retirement. And let's say as you approach the blessed, eagerly anticipated date when you can slough off the crushing responsibility of your work and utterly insane demands of your bosses, you have made to yourself one, and only one, Unbreakable Vow: whatever else comes of retirement, you will not degenerate into Old Man Shambling Around the House All Day in His Bathrobe. A modest goal, one that ought to be easily achievable. All you have do do is get up, drink your coffee, shower, then put on some kind of actual clothing. And we had the pandemic to both lower societal expectations for what it means to be "dressed" and teach us how very loose and flexible the definition of "actual clothing" truly is, right? T-shirts, sleep pants, sweats, gym shorts, cardigans and jeans, just something other than a bathrobe, something that says "I have made the absolute bare minimal effort not to descended into reclusive eccentricity" to your neighbors and relatives so they don't call social services on you. So very simple, just don't become Old Man Shambling Around in a Bathroom All Day. And, after all, who can really stand to be a bathrobe more than an hour or two, right? A life time of Saturdays and Sundays have taught you that no matter how engrossed you may be in that spreadsheet and website you use to fiddle with your IRA or the news or that 4X strategy game on your computer, after a couple of hours microfiber becomes stifling and sweaty and makes you feel like you're getting a rash, flannel is too thin to keep your slowly-expanding expanse of surface area comfortably warm, terrycloth becomes kinda itchy on your back and tuckus, compelling you rise from your office chair or recliner, bathe and dress in something you wouldn't be ashamed to answer the door in at 4:00 pm. And so it went for me. And then I bought this robe. So comfortable. So amazingly, and continually comfortable and comforting. Sooo very, intoxicatingly, giddily comfortable after it's had that first wash. Breathes in summer, warm in winter, continual swaddling in comfort. All hail Turkish cotton. All praise unto it. And thus did the day arrive when I realized that because of this robe, my fears have been realized, my Unbreakable Vow to myself shattered. Showering late afternoon to early evening rather than morning. Robe descending into the embarrassing shabbiness of any garment worn five to twelve hours a day seven days a week and taken off only to wash. (And let's face it, *every* spanking new terrycloth robe is only 1-5 wash cycles away from disreputable shabbiness, so that box gets checked pretty quickly.) I thus have I been forced to to engage in unwelcome introspection and acknowledge I have become the Old (Aging Late Middle Age, Dammit) Man Shambling Around the House in His Robe, and, sadly, I'm distressingly, if covertly, okay with that. All because bought this ridiculously comfortable robe and now am actually going to buy another. It is too late for me, children! I am lost. But heed my warning. Whether you are retiring or just working from home with only infrequent Zoom conferences when you're expected to appear wearing work-appropriate attire, at least from the waist up: do not buy this garment! For if you succumb to its Siren Song, you too have taken the first step that ends with you becoming, before the very eyes of your relatives, friends and, most dangerous of all, potential heirs, the Old Person Shambling Around the House All Day in a Robe.

Full length is great, more comfy than plush.
Second Arus robe. Very nice first one held up to daily wear for several years. Even in a cold house I get overheated in the plush robes, cotton or terry is way more comfortable. Full length is great I want to say the sizing is small I could have gone up a size, but this seems to be the best choice if you want length. Definitely go up a size or two I'm not a huge guy and the large X-large extra-long doesn't stay closed when I sit down. Fantastic after shower robe.

A Bit Thin for $53.99+
The package presentation and the bathrobe itself is nice and comfortable. However, for the $54+ price point, they do skimp on the Turkish cotton. It is thin and will become thinner with each wash. After the first wash, the lint trap was full and the rove was noticeably thinner.

The Best Robe Ever!
I love this robe so much! This robe is amazing! It feels like wearing a large, soft, comfy towel. It's incredibly warm, absorbent, and goes almost all the way down to my ankles. Which is saying a lot, because I'm a taller guy at 6'2. After a shower, when my body is still kind of damp after toweling off, throwing this thing on feels like I've upgraded my life in the best possible way. It's turned regular morning shower time into a spa retreat. The pockets are large and deep and they hold my phone easily. It's easy to throw in the wash with other towels, and it's cotton so it doesn't shrink when you dry it. The sleeves are large and roomy and they don't tug on my shoulders. This is easy to just throw on without thinking about it. Even the hood is well designed and feels custom-fit to my specific head shape. There's no weird seams or anything scratching at the back of my neck. My one small quibble is with the belt. For me and my large gut, it's only barely long enough to tie around myself. The robe itself is plenty large enough to cover me, it's just the belt that's a little shorter than I'd like. However, I've found that by threading it through the loops in front of my body, as opposed to bringing it around my back, and tying it that way still keeps the robe closed securely, so it's not a big deal at all. Also, the belt loops have a weird stitch in the middle of them when this comes out of the package. I think this stitch is there to keep the belt in place during shipping, but I'm not sure on that. Regardless, when I first tried to adjust the belt the first time I wore this, one of those stitches ripped open and when I heard it rip I thought I had pulled too hard and tore the belt loop. That wasn't the case, however. The belt fits way better into the belt loops without that weird middle stitch in place. I'm only mentioning this so it doesn't come as a surprise if it happens to anyone else. Honestly, this is tied with my silk robe for the best robe I've ever owned award. Both have their place. Right now, though, this one has way more utility.
