Barrington Hardwoods Walnut Lumber - 3/4" x 6" x 12" (2 Pcs)

This size of walnut plank was perfect for a small project. The grain is nice as I expected. But, my order was shipped simply with a clear plastic clear wrap with a shipping label. No padding. I suspect that's why the corner edges on my boards were dinged a bit, which detracts from the otherwise perfect edges on the boards.

I placed two back to back orders with the seller for different sized walnut boards to build a pegboard with moveable shelves. When there was an issue with the order, I contacted Dirk. He responded quickly and was ready to replace the items, but fortunately, due to him contacting the middle man (Amazon won't let me talk about the issue since it wasn't an issue with the seller or product), the order arrived in perfect condition. The boards were beautiful without blemishes, knots, cracks, etc. I would definitely buy again.

One of the two boards got seriously nicked during transport. Packaging is rather soft at the edges. The other one has a significant warp suggesting uneven drying or moisture change. Both boards need quite some work to make use of them. Not recommended in this condition.

overall quality of the walnut was good but sloppy cross-cut. The ends were not square so I had to cut some of the ends off to make them square.
