Tell Yourself a Better Lie: Use the power of Rapid Transformational Therapy to edit your story and rewrite your life.

The main thought I have after reading this is - why is RTT not offered to anyone struggling with depression or anxiety before being given antidepressants?? I learned a lot and already feel the difference in myself. Whatever your issue, read this book! It may just change your life.

This book is a MUST READ for anyone - whether you are a curious member of the public - or a professional therapist - who wants a better understanding of how the issues that are hurting us or holding us back, are created - usually without knowing it - and how to fix those issues ! All written in such a way that even if you have no knowledge of therapy you can learn as you go ! "You really can't fix what you don't understand"! Marisa Peer I am a therapist and this book is an invaluable resource for every therapist / counsellor / healer to have to hand! Through the case studies contained within the pages, you get an in depth look at how the absolute master of her craft moves from the presenting problems to the root causes of those issues - and once you find the root causes - well Marisa shows you in the book what to do next :-) And in each chapter there are exercises or techniques for the reader to use for themselves to get themselves to a better place Well worth the money - it's worth a lot more - Absolutely Priceless information - Can't recommend it highly enough - Love it ! :-)

Great book, love Marisa Peer. Very insightful and nicely written giving you a great understanding of how your mind comes up with things to protect you and thinks it’s doing you a favour and probably was at the time of what was going on and no longer services you now. A good variety of issues and really helpful. Great read and totally recommend.

I'm a fan of Marisa's work and in this book she shares case studies that many people will be able to relate to. She also generously invites the reader to use audios that accompany the book so that they can help themselves. We are programmed to lie to ourselves all the time and that leads to unhappiness. If we all started telling ourselves a different truth, then perhaps our lives could be happier as a result. Also a useful read for those contemplating training in RTT .

I loved this book. I've loved all of Marisa's book but this one is by far the best because it takes you behind-the-scenes of Rapid Transformational Therapy to see not only what it's all about, but how it actually works for people. When this form of hypnotherapy is described in this way, it all makes sense. For the people Marisa works with in the book, I thank them for allowing us to read their stories. I'm not going to lie, I shed quite a few tears not just because their stories were so emotional but because of their breakthroughs and how they finally get to live their lives. Amazing. Do yourselves a favour, read the book (have tissues close by) then book an RTT session. I've seen the power of what it can do first hand.

When I discovered Marissa peer on a podcast early this year I couldn’t have imagined the impact she would have on my life. She is truly a beacon of light and what she teaches is so simple. I absolutely love her and would recommend listening to her seminars/meditations on YouTube. This book covers everything she is all about. It is absolutely amazing. I can’t explain the desperate state I was in and she has given me my life back and way more ! Thank you Marissa!

I've been following Marisa's work for about 4 years (books and she has a huge youtube channel which is worth looking through) and it has changed my life. Initially I was sceptical and thought it all looked a bit too Hollywood for me but everything she teaches/writes about applies to everyone regardless of gender, age or finances. She is completely correct in saying that when life is going on around you, the only thing that you can really control is your own thoughts and Marisa is the Queen of teaching you how to master your mind. You have to want to do it though, it takes a bit of practice but if you stick with it the rewards are huge. This book is engaging, it gets to the point, easy to understand and has plenty of audio downloads to help you get the best results.

Good read for self development

Estudo psicanálise e adorei o livro. Ajudou-me bastante!

Libro arrivato senza difetti. Ottima qualità della carta.

Marisa Peer doesn’t disappoint! I really enjoyed this book and all her advice. I recommend for anyone on a self improvement journey. It is interesting to realize how our own self talk can ruin your life and keep you in one spot. That self actualization is very valuable in today’s world. Thank you 😊

A phenomenal book on healing and self healing that could very well serve as a therapy manual for 'lay' people. The apparent simplicity of RTT, the no-nonsense language, the practical self-healing tools, all soundly underpinned by complex concepts and scientific research in psychology and latest applied neuroscience. Presented powerfully, with authenticity, humour and compassion by the fabulous Marisa Peer. The kind of book you want to give as a gift to all your friends and family because it's so life changing and full of golden nuggets. You cry and you laugh with every client story and feel elated with every outcome of each case. A book that gives hope and proof that psychotherapy does not need to be a 20 years long process... I feel that the next generations will look at RTT and Marisa Peer the same way as we look now at the greatest pioneers in psychology and psychotherapy. RTT will stand out on the 'wall of fame" of the science of the soul next to the most established and respected therapeutical modalities that we study now in the formal psychology degrees. It's making history under our eyes. To me, as a psychologist experienced in several other therapeutical modalities, I feel that RTT is the 'miracle' we've all been waitting for, therapists and clients all together.
