DEWALT DCF901B XTREME 12V MAX* Brushless 1/2 in. Cordless Impact Wrench (Tool Only)

was skeptical at first - watched an insane amount of reviews and torque tests on youtube before rolling the dice on this little guy. absolutely, zero regrets. this impact wrench is small enough to fit in tight spaces and with an incredible amount of power and comfort to use. easily brakes lugs on my wheels and perfect for tight wheel-well applications. I was originally going to use the 20V version because I already have several tools, but this one was the better option and worth the buy-in to the 12V line. I purchased a few tools with the 12V lineup and am super pleased (ratchet and recip saw) tons of power, perfect size, great price!

I didn't think I would enjoy the Dewalt 12V tools so much and this impact is no exception. First of all, I own several of the 20V max tools including the DCF899HB beast of an impact wrench. However, it is not always practical to be lugging around a 7.5lb tool (with 5ah battery and impact socket) for jobs that do not require all that power. The Dewalt DCF901B XTREME 12V MAX* Brushless 1/2 in. Cordless Impact Wrench fills a much needed gap between raw power and portability. It removes all but the most stubborn nuts and can fit into areas the DCF899HB cannot. The battery life is surprisingly good and the price paid for this addition is almost a no-brainer. Though I will not be retiring my 20V Dewalt tools anytime soon, these days I do tend to reach for the 12v tools first.

Great tool and not much I can say about it other than it works as it should and just like every other Dewalt tool I own. They make good stuff that lasts from my experience. Plus you know you have a company that you can contact in the future if there ever is an issue.

I bought it used excellent condition and it'll take 1'' lugs off my 1 ton pickups no problem I didn't expect it to look as good as it does also it takes the lugs off of my race car the lugs haven't been taken off in 20 years so they were basically rusted on there

This little impact puts out quite a punch! Don’t let this little 12 volt impact fool you. Paired with a 5 amp battery it will go thru anything! I removed 3 wheels and did some suspension work and when everything was done I still had 3 bars on the battery! Now comes the cons. The biggest con was its so hard to put on sockets. You have to visually line up the socket to the anvil and push really hard to seat the socket in. The anvil doesn't have that little ball on it like other impacts do so it was a pain changing out sockets while I was lying on the ground under neath a car. I wish DeWalt designed it better. The other con, tho not major, was it came with the belt clip but missing the screw. That kinda sucked. But other than that I was very surprised at the power this little impact put out. Its small and it fits around control arms and ball joints. It gets the job done!

Yes it’s what I expected and some great value

I keep this in my truck in the even I need to change a tire. I have back issues and fobt have the strenth to break torque. This 14v wrench is stronger than my old 18v and breaks torque easily. I it's compact and very versatile. Highly recommended.

This is a light duty tool, and is easy to handle in tight spots. You can use 5 amp rated battery to improve trrque output for larger bolts. I have heavier impact tools, but every once in a while you fear snapping a stud that will be difficult to extract. This tool allows a little more finess when you are dealing with smlleer bolts and nuts. Somewhat beneficial when aan electric ratchet won't quite do the job.

It’s a very good device to use for changing bolts on tires, u can take it anywhere. Very powerful. it’s better than an air compressor .

Usala para mejor resultados con dados de 1/2 por que si usas el adaptador para 3/8 pierdes mucha fuerza toda la suspension de mi auto lo e podido quitar todos los tornillos con esta pistola muy buena fuerza para el tamaño muy facil de mover no pesa mucho mi favorita pistola de impacto la verdad y es dewalt que es delas mejores la recomiendo te sorprendera la verdad

Very strong and durable. Plenty of torque to do the jobs I need it for. Delivery was early and well packaged. I don't know why I didn't buy one years ago.

Item was fine. It will not allow the fitting of a uk spec battery. You have to purchase a separate adapter plate to allow the battery to fit. I have returned the item.
