I think it works. I am sure that my mouth was smelling bad brfore, even though nobody told me. I always have had taken care of my teeth and mouth. Brushing daily, going to the dentist and yet my mouth, sadly, was smelling really bad. I was chewing gum, a lot of gum daily, and the moment I realized I am overreacting with it, I started to search for a solution for my bad breath. I went to the dentist and solve my dental problems, and still I knew the smell didn't go, and then I searched for toothpaste and mouthwash. First I ordered from a different brand , advertised in my country. I think it worked only for couple of hours. Yet, no beeing satisfied, I searched here on amazon. So I bought this toothpaste and also the mouthwash, I changed my normal brush with an electrical toothbrush. I am using them since January, and tonight after came from a reunion with some friends, I can say that this is working. I didn't have any gum with me, and no one , absolutely no one made any faces when they talked to me, head to head. The taste and the smell are great, and I think it doesn't cost a fortune. I am a fan of the smarth mouth mouth wash and I wanted to try the toothpaste. It has zinc, like the mouthwash. The real question is, Can I use this toothpaste with out the mouth wash...yes and no. The toothpaste will get you teeth clean squeaky clean and will make your tongue fresh was well. However it does not contain the 2 stage cleaning properties as the mouth wash. So it will make your breath feel fresh, but the bad breath properties will not out last the performance of the mouth wash. Its it better then most toothpaste on the market? yes Most toothpaste are pretty much the same. The only real difference is either the taste or if it is designed for sensitive teeth. This tooth paste at least includes zinc so it has breath freshening properties. Is this worth the money? No If you have the extra money and you like the "dentist clean feeling" then by all means. You can easily get the same freshness from other brands of tooth paste such as the Aquafresh extreme clean or the arm and hammer line. These are not as good as smarth mouth in terms of bad breath prevention, however that what the 2 step mouth wash is for. Just buy the smart mouth wash, a decent brand toothpaste, floss,a decent brand toothbrush,and you are set. Also a tounge brush The Original TUNG Brush - Tongue Cleaner with TUNG Gel Sample The Original TUNG Gel - Tongue Cleaner - Fresh Mint The gel has zinc, and the brush is a short firm bristle design that is good for removing tougne gunk. The tube of the tung gel can last you at least 3 months. You do not need alot. This would be a better investment then the smart mouth paste.

This is expensive toothpaste but I like the taste , texture and quality . I have very sensitive teeth and this toothpaste doesn’t bother me at all . I cut a star just because this toothpaste is so expensive , otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Despite keeping very good care of my oral health I've struggled with dry mouth and stinky breath. I've tried several brands and nothing has worked until I used SmartMouth. I highly recommend and will never go without again.

Not sure it did help anything. Zinc in it but it does the same thing as regular toothpaste.
