I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience has pushed me to speak up. We really need to be more informed about the types of products being used in the hair care industry—especially when it comes to extension hair, both human and synthetic. I purchased this hair with the hope of reusing it as a protective style while I transitioned to wearing my natural hair. Because I know extension hair can sometimes cause irritation, I presoaked it in apple cider vinegar and water overnight, then washed and conditioned it thoroughly. Despite all of that, the hair still had a strange, lingering smell. It’s now been one week since installation, and unfortunately, I’ve developed an allergic reaction. My neck and scalp are extremely itchy, and the discomfort has only gotten worse over time. I was really hopeful about this product, but now I can’t help but wonder: what kinds of chemicals are being used during processing that could cause this kind of reaction? This isn’t meant to be a negative rant. It’s to inform those with sensitive skin or anyone who’s health-conscious, please take the time to research and pay close attention to how your body responds. Our skin is our largest organ, and what we put on it matters. I hope my review helps someone else make a more informed decision.

This hair used to be great quality and a perfect match to my natural hair. a go-to for easy protective styles. Last 2-3 orders have seen an odd color shift and quality decline. The hair now has a reddish tint that is quite noticeable in natural day light and it is no longer a true 1b. There are also coarse, clearly synthetic plastic strands interwoven into the tracks. I won’t be ordering this product again sadly.
