Air Lift 60856 1000 Air Springs for 2020-21 Buick Encore / 2017-21 Cadillac XT5 & GMC Acadia / 2019-21 Chevrolet Blazer & Trailblazer (Traliblazer limited to 2021)

2018 Chevrolet Equinox the sagged terribly when towing a 900 lb teardrop trailer. This meant the towing hardware dragged on speed bumps and driveways terribly. A quick tip for installing, follow the instructions and roll the bag upwards towards the air nipple. Then put the nipple back on. Now roll the bag like a hotdog bun. I held it very gently in a vice and put two zip ties on it to hold the shape. Put the tubing on ahead of insertion of the bag into the spring. BEFORE cutting the zip ties make sure the bag is at the lowest point in the spring. I partially inflated the bag on each side prior taking the car off the Jack to make sure the bag wasn’t pinched.

What do I like? Once installed it works great but to get it to work great it takes a lot of work to install the air bag into the coil springs(2024 Chevy Equinox premier) and to do a sanitary routing of the air lines,had to use a heat gun to warm up the air line so it would fit on the fittings,it’s not like I live in a cold area I live in central Florida,as I said in the headline unless you’re mechanically inclined you better get a professional to install this air lift kit. The air lift bag’s doesn’t lift the vehicle it just increases the payload that you can carry by a 1000 pounds,I installed the kit because I pull a 5 foot x 8 foot utility trailer that I’ve been known to push the trailer almost to it’s limit but only once in a while.I also work once or twice a week for a landscaper doing maintenance on all his lawn equipment,his trucks and trailers and I use my own tools which I load in the Equinox approximately 650-700 pounds,really like the air lift,would I purchase another air lift kit? Yep
