This unique and innovative Stinquepot aromatherapy/perfume pendant is suitable for wear by women, men or could even be used for hanging in the car or home. It is a sizable 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm) long, including the bale and hanging loop, and has a 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) diameter. This one-of-a-kind, handmade pendant has been carved and glazed to look like an ancient artifact that has been pieced back together. The lid and bottom portion of the pendant have been finished with an enamel glaze containing real gold. The middle portion has been finished with a stony matte glaze resembling rusted metal, glossy pearl, and an iridescent deep amber glaze. Wire and small tacks permanently secure the lid to the vessel. Because the vessel is ceramic, the unglazed inner surface will absorb your favorite essential oil or perfume, alleviating the need for cotton pads or panels, as used in typical metallic diffuser pendants. Stinquepots are unique and utilitarian jewelry. Never meant to be opened, they still can be filled. Full of holes and cracks, they still can contain. More than just creative neck decorations, Stinquepots hold smells! Hand-thrown on a potter's wheel and then altered and embellished, each Stinquepot is left unglazed on the inside. Using a small dropper (included), simply apply a few drops of a favorite perfume or essential oil through a crack or hole, and the unglazed inside surface absorbs the perfume, exuding its aroma throughout the day. Perfect for aromatherapy or just for smellin' good! Please note: Essential oils are not to be ingested and should be kept far away from children, pets, eyes, and open flames.
