Derailleur Hanger for Cervelo R3, R2, R5, RCA, S5, Garmin-Sharp Team Bike, S3, S2 Dropout 163 CNC

Seems well made. It's a little thicker than the oem part. Did a couple of rides and it seems to be working as expected.

This is the secound derailleur hanger I've purchased for my R5 that had one screw with a rounded out allen key mold- making it impossible to screw in or out. I purchased this one to replace an already stripped screw mold on my previous derailleur hanger. That was a serious pain in the butt to remove- almost impossible. I checked the bolts before installing. One was good the other was pretty much stripped from the start. I gently installed both screws and as soon as there was the slightest bit of resistance I realzed I was going to have the same crappy experience uninstalling this derailleur- one screw was completely stripped. Other things to note- this derailleur hanger was a little wider than the previous hanger I purcahsed- it fits better- the other had the screws protruding through the mold and not flush like this one- same size screws. Lesson being make certain to check the integrity of the screws before installing in order to avoid and real pain in the a** when attempting to uninstall.

Slightly tougher than the pot metal ones. Still breaks when you want it to, though. I think it's a design flaw on my Cervelo R3 - they break much too easily. I always carry an extra one in my saddle bag and I seem to break at least one per year.

I bought 2 units and both of them came twisted. They dis not dit property with the derailleur

Product was advised as (Derailleur Hanger 163 with mounting bolts) the derailleur was delivered without mounting bolts.
